Villa and heated pool 800m from the beach and center of pornic on foot wifi

A wonderful modern property in a great location that enables you to walk everywhere - Pornic centre is just 10 minutes walk, the beach is 700m away and you can walk to the supermarket in 10 minutes. We really enjoyed the twice weekly market. The pool is fantastic and the table tennis and table football were a great hit with the kids. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and entertain. There are also many fantastic restaurants you can walk to in Pornic too. A great holiday home from home!

Our family have just enjoyed a relaxing week at Veronique and Jean-Paul’s lovely villa. The house is located in a quiet suburban area within walking distance of town and beaches - and several supermarkets nearby. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed to make the most of our stay. The pool was particularly welcome in the summer heat. And bikes for exploring local towns. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

Our family have enjoyed a most relaxing week in this beautiful villa. The hosts Jean-Paul & Veronique are excellent and the property was immaculate inside and out. It had everything we needed and more and very much suited our needs. One of our children is disabled and the property worked very well for her as it is so accessible. Pornic is beautiful and we did not need a car to enjoy this coastal town. We enjoyed many walks along the coast paths and in the beautiful town. The supermarket is a 10 minute walk away, and had everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed visiting the Pottery centre which was a short walk away. The pool at the villa was much enjoyed, especially as it was partially covered so even on cooler days we were able to enjoy a swim. We highly recommend this lovely property and would happily stay here again. Thank you Veronique & Jean Paul, we have had a great holiday!

We enjoyed staying in this amazing property for 2 weeks. There were 8 of us in total with plenty of space for all. When we arrived the place was spotless and we were greeted by the two hosts. The pool was very much loved by all and the outside furniture including the huge bean bags were great. With a short walk to the lovely beach and town it’s the perfect location. Communication with the host was very good and they were very accommodating. We would stay here again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Just enjoyed a very pleasant week at the villa. Very well appointed with everything there you could wish for. Nice bonus was the table tennis table and the bikes to use. The villa was very private, not overlooked and the pool was a lovely temperature that my 5 year old loved, especially as he could stand up in the shallow end. Excellent location, turn left out of the villa and you head to the beach a 10 minute stroll away, and turn right and right again and it's a pleasant 15 minute walk into the centre of Pornic where you'll find plenty of bars, restaurants, shops etc. If you want a high end villa, in a great location then this is the one for you!

This was our second stay at this house. We love the location of this property, just a short walk from the beach and the beautiful old town. The property has everything you need for a perfect stay. We loved the large patio, BBQ and great garden furniture. The pool was warm and clean as the roof provides warmth and shade from the sun. The living space is open, spacious and light. The house is well-looked after and is a great place to spend time with the family. We’d love to return. ?

The house is beautiful. It is spacious and immaculate. We are a family of 6 adults and a 3 year old little boy who is disabled. We all loved the swimming pool and spent a lot of time in it. The water was clean and warm. We had several barbecues on the lovely terrace. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms are a good size. The local beach is excellent and easily walkable, There is a lovely walk to the centre for bars, cafes and restaurants. Supermarkets are a short drive away. We hadn't realised that they would be shut on our arrival (Sunday) and that was a little difficult with having a young child. The owners (Jean-Paul and Veronique) are very friendly and helpful and answered all our email questions quickly. Altogether a wonderful place to stay and highly recommended!

We have just returned after a fabulous holiday in this wonderful property. (4 adults, 3 children of 15, 13 and 10). We originally chose this villa because of it's superb location, within walking distance of the historic harbour town of Pornic. We weren't disappointed! Pornic has everything - a lovely sandy beach, a quaint old town with narrow cobbled streets, a smart marina and coastal path and a thriving promenade with a fantastic choice of restaurants. The walk back to the villa is uphill but we soon got used to it! Pornic also has a train station, which some of us used to explore the city of Nantes. The surrounding area has many beaches and coastal walks. We visited 'Serpent d'Ocean' - a wonderful snake sculpture in the ocean in the estuary near St Nazaire, not far away in the car. A perfectly located holiday home. The villa itself offered more than we expected. It is a smartly presented home with lots of features to make staying here very easy: electric shutters, comfortable beds, a games room, table tennis, a fantastic BBQ, huge bean bags, a massive parasol and a large garden dining table with lots of seating for all. There are plenty of loungers and a modular seating area which catches the afternoon and evening sun. The pool is heated and is secured with security panels, (not shown on these current photos). This was a bit of a surprise at first as we are not used to having a covered pool, (the panels form a sloping 'roof'). However, the panels were easy to put up and take down and retained the heat within the pool. They also helped the pool to stay clean. We all really enjoyed using the pool and the patio area. The house was very clean and easy to maintain. The open-plan nature of the layout and the sliding patio doors help to enhance the feeling of space. The kitchen is well laid-out with lots of worktop space for a family who love cooking and eating! The road is quiet and the house felt very private. All in all, a perfect holiday location which we would highly recommend.

Very well appointed villa and easy to get to from the ferry at St Malo. We took the route down through St Nazaire and the views from the bridge were spectacular. On the way back we went via Nantes, Rennes to St Malo, leaving Pornic at 0641 and arriving at 0900 for the 1030 crossing. Very easy journey. The villa itself is modern and very well laid out. Excellent location both for trips out to the surrounding region and for walking into the town centre and market at Les Halles. The nearest beach is 10 minute walk, turn left out of the gate and straight on. Excellent local restaurants and there are Super U & LeClerc supermarkets within a two minute drive. Jean-Michel & Veronique Tychonowicz are very nice and helpful. The villa is easy to do and we had absolutely no issues. The swimming pool is excellent, eating outside when we could which was practically every day was wonderful. A really nice relaxing holiday for both of us and the kids aged 14 and 12 years. The games room was a welcome distraction for the kids and great fun. We would thoroughly recommend this villa for a two week stay.
