Stayed Dec 21, 2024Extended family gathering for Christmas. 9 adults which did mean 2 were sleeping in bunk beds but it would have been hard to find a more appropriate place. Easy walk to town, lake, shopping, cafes and restaurants. Good space for parking. Well appointed laundry making a week long stay very easy. We swam most days and the swimming beach was close by. Big open grassy area at end of the street was great for running some steam off our dog. No fenced off area but that wasn’t an issue.

Stayed Nov 22, 2024Had to contact Bookabatch in order to get access to the house as no information was received from the host. When contacted host to report a broken shower hose, I was told there was a spare part available and then he suggested one of us could fix it the night before we were leaving. The house is great though, but I could write a list of recommendations for improvement.

Stayed Jul 21, 2024property was great , plenty of room and everything was clean tidy and as advertised. The heating was the only issue once we got the heat pumps working they really didn't heat the house at all. the central heating system in the house was not working so the 2 small heat pumps in living areas wasn't anyway near enough for cold Taupo nights.
