Stayed Aug 6, 2025The property is beautiful and well appointed. We had everything we needed and felt very pampered. It was with in walking distance to where we were going. Katie was very responsive to all our questions. We would love to stay at this property again.

Stayed Jul 21, 2025Beautiful old house with lovely furnishings. Convenient to pretty much everything. Complaints: Need more hooks for bath towels. House smells really musty. Two AC units are pretty noisy. The biggest complaint was finding mouse droppings in the silverware tray in the kitchen drawer.

Stayed Aug 11, 2024If you li5ve Victorian homes, I think you will enjoy this. Not only a Victorian itself but on a block of them and very close to a Muskegon Landmark! Our only word of warning is we found that it was very difficult for someone with even small mobility issues to navigate. This was a combination of it being an old home but also a lack of caution by the owner and a need for more lighting for safety.

Stayed Aug 2, 2024We had such a great stay! Just an absolutely beautiful house! Clean. Lots of space. Quiet. Walking distance to downtown. Couldn’t have found a better place to stay for our vacation. Highly recommend!

Stayed Jul 26, 2024It’s a really nice Victorian house. Owners did a great job with keeping its charm while it’s functional and comfortable. It’s only 20 minutes away from downtown Grand Haven. It has 3 bedrooms upstairs with 2 full baths and a pull out couch in the library with a half bath. It worked out well for 2 families of 4. The only thing that needed attention was spider webs around the house and in front and back yard. Outdoor furniture cushions weren’t clean to sit on. But overall it was very nice stay.

Stayed Jul 19, 2024We really loved staying at this home. A beautiful Victorian surrounded by other beautiful Victorian, including the Hackley and Hume homes. The rental was clean, well appointed with plenty of towels and linens, and very comfortable. Each room had its own ac unit which was a welcome bonus. A great location right by all the action, would definitely stay again.

Stayed Jul 14, 2024We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house and loved the historic atmosphere! Everything was as described and we enjoyed the treats that were left for us. Only thing I would recommend is having somewhere to hang towels in the master bathroom. That was the only thing we thought of and honestly that is no big deal. We truly loved the house and would stay again!

Stayed Jun 28, 2024We had a great stay at the house. That historic house was such a nice change of pace and was beautiful to look at. The neighborhood was such a quaint historic area for a nighttime stroll. The host left the bunch of goodies that the kids gobbled up as soon as they got in. The house was really close to all the attractions in Muskegon and I recommended to any one in the area. Besides a little snafu with the electronic locks was great and the hosts were very responsive. Thanks

Stayed Jul 4, 2024When we arrived everybody immediately started taking a pictures of the house and asked who choose a property. I could not get my family to unload belongings. Everybody went inside to explore and did not want to come out. I would say some of the parts of the house felt that we stayed in the museum. Very unique property. Host is very responsive and addressed all our questions. We enjoyed it. Thank you for letting us stay there.

Stayed Jun 14, 2024My mom and I had a girls get away and this was the perfect escape. We loved sitting on the back porch. The garden is so pretty! The front is just as great. The house is a historic gem. The glass left beautiful reflections on the floors and wall. It’s right next to the Hackley and Hume homes, which is awesome. We enjoyed a walk around the neighborhood and it had a lot of restaurants near by to pick from! The farmers market was a nice touch as well!
