We love staying at Debbie's property! It's just perfect and she's always lovely to work with. Communication is great and we're always grateful to be able to call her house our temporary home.
Wonderful, private location that was everything that it was advertised to be. Debbie provided excellent communication before and during our trip. Everything that you could think of was provided in the rental, from dish soap and laundry detergent to dog water bowls and a fenced yard and everything in between. The use of a garage was a great plus for us. The TV antenna and internet worked fine throughout our stay. Having lived in the area previously, we did not use Debbie for local information, but she made herself available if we had any needs or questions. We saw mule deer and fox on the property (and heard coyotes and smelled javelinas). Would definitely stay (and hopefully will) again.
This is an amazing place to get away from it all in southern. Great house and great owners! This is the perfect place to enjoy desert living but still have access to the city a few minutes away. Debbie is a very gracious host.
Very clean and well stocked. Owners lived next door and were very helpful and friendly. Would stay there again and recommend it to others.
The house, location and amenities were above my expectation and our hosts were fantastic!
This home does not disappoint. Everything we needed and more was right at our fingertips. Our Host Debbie was super thoughtful in all the little extra touches that makes a stay wonderful! The pictures of the house do not do it justice. It was just lovely inside and out. Debbie was super accommodating and gracious when our travel plans changed last minute too! Can't thank her enough for that save! If you're coming to southern AZ this home makes a great home base. And for astronomy buffs...you can see Whipple Observatory right out the window! We will definitely stay here again.
Out in the country, a wonderful relaxing stay on private desert property with a dark sky view of the Milky Way. We were super comfortable here. The house is very well insulated, has an open floor plan and desert views from all the windows. The kitchen is completely equipped for fixing meals at home and then enjoying them on the porch. Host Debbie is outstanding, friendly, helpful... generously spent time showing us the surrounding trails. The home and property are decorated with her artistic touch. All the positive reviews are accurate, I look forward to returning!
When you have a 120 pound great pyrenees dog, finding a place to stay can be challenging. Debbie and Keith’s property was ideal. 20 acres with no one around and a nice a fenced yard. As for us humans, it was a pleasant retreat. It was out away from things so it was very quite and peaceful, except for the birds and quails. At night you could see more stars ⭐️ than i have ever seen. We even got to see the Starlink satellites go over. It was pleasure staying there and we hope to stay there again when we go back out
We have stayed at four VRBOs since we started using them two years ago; they have all been good, but this was the best. The on-line pictures don't do it justice - the owners, who are very accessible, have gone beyond expectations to make the property comfortable and attractive. The setting is fantastic, with great views of the Santa Ritas, great privacy and quiet. We are birders and the location provide great access to several prime birding sites and very good yard birding (we got two lifers in the yard!) A note of caution for birders, which is no fault of the owners - Google Maps gives bad directions to Madera Canyon, you cannot go north on Canoa Road (it dead ends) and must go south and around via Elephant Head for a 24 mile trip. That is not a complaint, I would definitely stay here again. Loved it.
This darling home was way more than we expected. It was beautifully decorated and fully equipped with anything you could need. The owners were extremely friendly and easy to contact. It’s only 20 minutes away from Green Valley and yet it is so secluded and private... you can’t see another house from any direction. We watched gorgeous sunsets and enjoyed several wonderful campfires under the stars. Incredible view of Elephant Head!
