Stayed Oct 24, 2025The listing is as described. Very spacious and super clean. The views are incredible. It has a firepit and the sky was so clear we saw the most stars ever. The kitchen is equipped. I recommend to bring you own shampoo, conditioner and body wash because the ones provided are only enough for 1 person. As far as the host, we really didn't have to speak with him so I don't have any comments. We attended the Woolly Worm festival that was happening in Beattyville as well as hiking the Gorge we had a really good time.

Stayed Aug 12, 2025The house and the property are beautiful! And our stay was so comfortable. These were hot days, and the a/c worked great to keep us cool, but also the breeze along the wrap-around porch was perfect. The wooden chairs in front were absolutely the best for stargazing, and we saw some spectacular shooting stars during the Perseid meteor showers this week in the dark Kentucky skies over Marji's house. Thanks for the magical memories!

We had breakfast on the porch, watched the thunderstorms roll in and enjoyed the hummingbirds. It’s such a beautiful place, I could go on and on. The story of the house touched my heart and it’s something I will always remember. Jamie made us feel welcomed and responded to our emails quickly. The home was just as described.
