Stayed Mar 20, 2025This house was perfect for our group. My friends and I brought our sons for a weekend of skiing and hanging out. This house was perfect for us. Plenty of room to hang out, play games and watch TV. Getting in was a little tricky because the road was soft and muddy. Probably what to expect in the spring. I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed Dec 20, 2024Our stay at this enchanting farmhouse on Flatow Road in Ludlow, Vermont, was absolutely magical. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charm, history, and serene beauty of this home. Nestled in the most picturesque part of Vermont, with breathtaking views of Okemo and the surrounding snow-covered mountains, it felt like a storybook escape. The house is spacious yet cozy, blending modern comfort with historic character. Each room is thoughtfully curated, from the king-sized bedroom with its abundance of storage and delightful touches like books and soft blankets, to the cozy full-bed rooms with their warm radiators and inviting decor. Every corner of the home feels welcoming and filled with personality. The kitchen is a cook’s paradise, fully stocked with everything you could need—plenty of coffee supplies, spices, cookware, and even a beautiful Dutch oven. Mornings spent sipping coffee by the fireplace in the living room, with views of snow-covered trees and mountains, were nothing short of magical. The living room itself is a haven, with a comfortable couch, charming decor, and the warmth of the radiators making it the perfect spot for family time or quiet reflection. The upstairs reading and game room added an extra layer of coziness, filled with books and games to enjoy, while the sunroom offers incredible potential for a stunning bar setup. The house is brimming with thoughtful details, from the foam roller upstairs to the perfectly organized garage and

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Great rustic and beautiful farmhouse. The gas fireplace in the sunroom area did not work for us the first part of our stay, but they refunded us $ due to this. They did talk me through the fix over the phone which I appreciated! The main house heating furnace scattered around the rooms are steam furnace generated; was a little noisy at times and dry air in house, but worked well. Living quarters were a very pleasant temperature with excellent Nest Thermostat. Make sure you have FWD in winter off this unpaved road, but very scenic and short drive to Okemo!

Stayed Jan 5, 2023loved staying away from the town. the views were great. super quiet all day long. there's plenty of cooking equip so can whip up a fantastic meal. Few issues: 1) The gas fireplace in the sun room did not work and would not turn on. the remote indicated it was broken and needed servicing. after calling the host and sending chats on their website, no one got back to me. the room remained unusable since it was 45 degrees. There's a bedroom that's connected to the sunroom and you MUST go through the sunroom to get there. not pleasant. 2) the fuse for the sunroom/connected bedroom mentioned above, kept jumping and turning off. so we had to find the fusebox in the basement and flip the switch several times during our 3 day stay. not as bad as #1 issue, but still unpleasant. 3) firewood was located in a shed next to the garage, which was about 150 yards away. we didn't know it for the first 2 days, so we bought durafire logs from the store. not a big deal, but would have been nice to enjoy the natural fire for all three days.

Stayed Jun 22, 2022I asked for a discount, to which I'd use to purchase window a/c units and even leave at the house when we left...because the house had no air of any kind, which was not specified well at all, or else I never would have booked the property. Oh...and the answer was no. So thank you for a miserable last few days of our trip

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This place is dreamy!! I stayed here with my partner and some friends over a snowy winter weekend. It's a classic Vermont farmhouse, equipped with all the modern amenities we needed to make our stay comfortable (great wifi, fully stocked kitchen, etc.) The house was clean, cozy, and totally charming -- lots of lovely period decor. The location is perfect: it's close to town and the Okemo resort, but still feels like a real getaway because it's surrounded by fields and farms. There are stunning views out the back windows and porch -- we *loved* making coffee and breakfast and looking out at the mountain ridge. Also, the host was warm and communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. I can't wait to come back! Thank you!
