Vacation in Paradise! Dock available-Walk to Pool & Fishing Pier! Kayaks & Bikes

We have stayed in the Tradewinds property for 5 years or more at different homes. This was by far the best so far. The house was spotless and had everything we needed for the week. We loved the fact all the switches in the home were labeled.We did not have to turn on off ever switch to figure out what belonged to what. The welcome book was efficient and well put together. The couches in living room were comfy and relaxing after along day on the water. Thru the years we have seen the property grow. With that in mind parking for over sized vehicles and boat trailers is very limited. Especially if you have more than one vehicle per driveway. Space is limited. I would suggest the community looking into removing or renovating the tennis courts to add additional trailer or visitor parking. They do not look like they have been used for years. Also, we would love to see a designated electrical outlet near the boat ramp for community use. Most boats have trolling motors that need to be recharged or even if repairs need to be done. And let's not forget a fish cleaning station somewhere near boat ramp.Just a few ideas but nothing that would sway from not coming back. We will be rebooking this home in the future. House was clean, spacious and Joan was very accomendating! Community was also beautiful with a boat ramp basically at your backdoor. Plenty of good memories were had and we enjoyed ourselves!!

Great house. Perfect distance from the pool. Great driveway for parking trailers.

Very nice property would stay again

The RiverHouse was a lovely comfortable home. The Kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The home was very convenient for sightseeing. Found some great restaurants. Can highly recommend the Homosassa Distillery.

Our stay at Joan & Peter’s in January was very comfortable. We had a lovely time despite cold weather. This home has a great spot by the Homosassa River. Since it actually froze one day, we spent that day at the State Park, about 5 minutes away. It was awesome to see the fish huddled together in the spring because of the cold, and the manatees were all gathered near the park’s observation deck.The warmer day we spent on kayaks, looking at the manatees. The river was so nice.The kitchen has everything you need to cook, and we made a big pot of soup, which was perfect for warming us up. Our favorite things about the house were use of the garage (we stored our wetsuits and kayak equipment), the many balconies, proximity to the river, access to the boat ramp, the fishing dock and how reliable the owner is with questions. Plus a big soaking tub in the master bath, after we got back from a long day was so nice!!We will definitely be staying here again.

Joan was very welcoming and responsive to our questions and requests. We were very comfortable in the house and truly enjoyed our stay.

Was very clean and well stocked with necessities. Close to lots of restaurants and activities. Quiet neighborhood setting near the water.

This was a beautiful place to stay and felt like home. We recommended it to everyone. The bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed. Wi-Fi was easily accessible, as was the boat ramp. Check-in was simple. Decor was lovely. Loved the fireplace and porches. Don’t pass this up. This was for a 4-day anniversary stay - we loved it. The Riverhouse at Tradewinds was amazing! House is super clean and conveniently located to Old Homasassa and scalloping grounds. Having a private boat ramp is a plus. Looking forward to coming backing next year

Great house in great location with great view. House was very comfortable. Used available boat slip which was very convenient. Grandkids loved the pool. Great long weekend.
