Stayed Nov 21, 2025I was informed that the house would sleep up to 12 people, but it does not. Family of 8 with some of us on the floor. Good thing we brought a blow up mattress, yet everything else was superb.

Stayed Apr 8, 2022This property was in a great spot for access to the Metro, about a 10 minute walk in a safe area. Even coming home at night it felt safe. Some of the bedrooms are loud at night as it is on a main road, but that is to be expected for the walk ability to the Metro. The house was very clean and beds were extremely comfortable. The downstairs bathroom did have some peeling paint but bathroom was clean and plenty of towels and amenities were available. I would stay here again.

Stayed Jul 19, 2021Loved the space and convenience of this rental. Kitchen is small but we’ll stocked. Adjacent to a busy street, right off the highway, so there was some traffic noise but it didn’t keep us up at night. Nice to have the free parking. Easy check in and communication with the owners.

Stayed Mar 29, 2025When we began looking for properties for this trip, our priority was something within walking distance to a Metro station. It was an easy 14-minute walk to the nearest station. The home was also well-kept and had all the necessary amenities. We enjoyed our stay!

Stayed Nov 28, 2024This property was clean and although you had almost no yard and backside to a very busy street it was reasonably located. The house had an extremely small galley kitchen and first floor bathroom is a jack n Jill which was small. Being as old as it is, there is no electrical outlets in bathroom and one extension cord you use in kitchen for microwave and toaster. The twin beds in first floor bedroom hide the heat vents so it was cold in our bedroom. It’s a 20 min walk to closest metro station and about the same to decent food.

Stayed Dec 10, 2024We have a large-ish group on a family vacation. We had two kids who comfortably had their own rooms. The location is the best part! It is an older house so in the winter the heat/cold varied across the bedrooms as is pretty usual in the houses in the area but overall it was easily managed! Great communication with the host and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed Aug 2, 2024The house was perfect for what we needed. There was plenty of parking and the house was easy to find. Our questions were answered promptly. It was clean and had plenty of space for our group of 7. Kitchen is small but we didn’t cook much so it was not an issue. With 3 teenage girls, we had no issues with hot water for showers.

Stayed Jul 19, 2024There were plenty of rooms with comfortable beds to house our family, with a great living & dining area to gather together. A short walk to the Metro gave us access to everything we wanted to get to in the city. The kids enjoyed the park, which was a quick two-block walk away. The kitchen was small, but had everything we needed. Our host was responsive, check in and out was easy. If we’re ever in DC again, this will be our first choice!
