Urban Farmhouse near O’Hare Airport

The entire place was very clean and pretty well maintained at least on the inside. Its a bit drafty but thats a bit nice.

We had an excellent stay and the property was close to where we went every day. It was really nice to have a washer and dryer in the basement. The communication with the owner was easy and responsive. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

House was very clean and welcoming. Host was fantastic.

Good location and communication from host. It could have used a more thorough cleaning, but nothing that would prevent me from recommending it to others!

Check in was easy, and the house is big. There were plenty of towels, and extra blankets. Host was veey fast in responding to messages.

Amazing property I would love to stay again

Excellent space with comfortable and cozy seating areas. A highly recommended stay; proximity to the train station made going into the city very easy. Nature trails within walking distance.

Nice place, old farm house was remodeled, clean and was great for us, 1 older couple, 1 teanager. Easy access to Des Plaines services and transport (Metra) you can walk to. Great bakery and breakfast place (Sugar Bowl) nearby. Cute Greek grocery across Rand Road. We went into the loop each day, 1 hour in non-rush hour traffic. Metra is also a great option for city visits.Cautions: Rand road is quite busy during rush hours, noticable noise. Follow hosts recommendations for managing traffic getting out of the driveway. Wood floors can be uneven walking for older visitors as well as the stairs to the second floor.

Well air conditioned, plenty of space for our party of 6. The beds were not deluxe, but not the worst. Didn't have to use the kitchen much, thankfully. It's a bit of an awkward layout with not much counter/prep space. Wifi and TV worked well. Pretty easy to access the property and the location worked great for us.

It was a very nice house. Great place to stay. A lot of parking and great ac. One bad thing. Couldn’t Stay any longer. Had to return home. But overall 10 out of 10.

Urban Farmhouse is a treasure! Beautiful and comfortable. It felt like home away from home.The host provided lots of little extras such as shampoo , coffee and snacks.He was very flexible and responsive to my questions.

Would absolutely stay again! Property manager stayed in contact with me before and during my stay. Sent me information on local spots and also ways to take the train. Not only was the property clean and ready to go. It felt like home.

Overall great experience wish I could’ve stayed longer. I recommend Tom he’s a great property manager. House is beautiful and plenty of space.

My family was in town for a dance event and we missed out on booking the hotel where the convention was held. I’m so glad we did, because staying at the urban farmhouse was a treat. Everyone had their own space and it was clean, cozy and comfortable. The listed pics didn’t really do it justice; it was a great find.

We loved having dedicated parking and the old farmhouse worked perfect for our group. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house but it was easy to get to the sightseeing we wanted to do, the house was clean, check in and out were super easy, host was VERY easy to communicate with and provided great information very quickly! Everything was clean and we had all we needed and beds were comfortable. Really great for our group!

I renting this space for friends coming in to town for my wedding and it was perfect, comfortable, simple, we loved it

My only complaint would be the amount of traffic in front of the house. The house was wonderful. Easy access, lots of space, comfortable beds, and so much more. Only a 17 mile drive to downtown Chicago. Lots of shopping and eating within walking distance.
