Garner, North Carolina
In the heart of Garner NC, my customers find peace and tranquility in this unique urban farmhouse. The home is an open concept, with windows overlooking the enclosed large yard, patios & gardens. The completely private backyard has a 10ft privacy screen, and a 6ft privacy fence surrounding a large 1/2 acre wooded lot. Includes a firepit & a 37 jet, therapeutic hot tub. Well-behaved, housebroken dogs are welcome in the home, and the backyard is a perfect private dog playground.
The downstairs area is an open floorplan, with a Chefs kitchen/dining area and living room. It opens to a large deck and patio. There is a half bathroom in the downstairs area. The upstairs has three bedrooms, all with animal themes;
- The Master Cattle Stall has a California king-sized bed, a TV and connects to a bathroom which includes tub and shower.
- The Hen house has one full size bed with a wall mounted flat screen TV.
-The Wolves Den has one Queen size bed and flat screen TV.
There is another full bathroom upstairs with a tub/shower. You will also find the washer and dryer in the upstairs hallway.
The home has AT&T fiber WI-FI, and ROKU TV streaming.
The deck has a full-size glass outdoor table with four chairs, a 10ft umbrella and two rocking chairs. The patio has a firepit and logs are available on the side of the property. There is a firepit triangle and cast iron pot for making outdoor meals. The property has a 7 seat hot tub.
The property is located on a quiet side street off of the main roads. The driveway will fit two to four cars, and there is additional parking along the street. There is a coffee shop 1 block away that makes for a nice morning stroll, and walking trails and parks near the property.
I am only a text away. If I am out of town, I have a team ready to assist if there are any issues.
I love this area because there is so much to do. You are close to downtown Raleigh (just head down Timber road into the city), and minutes away from I-40 that will take you into the Triangle cities.
Garner Parks: White Deer Park and Benson Park about 3 miles away and have firepits, pavilions, and lots of field areas. White Deer Park has an informative nature center, and Benson Park has a lake withn boat/kayak rentals.
Neuse River Greenway Trail: Our area’s finest paved trail, and a must for bikers. Bike rentals are available in the area. My favorite trailhead entrances are in the neighboring cities of Clayton, and in Wake Forest.
Garner Performing Arts Center: A 471-seat theater in the Historic district of Garner, offering plays, comedies, bands and local musicians. There are also some theater camps and an art gallery featuring local artists.
Lorraine's Coffee House: This coffee house is one block away and I usually walk or ride my bike for coffee. Lorraine is a famous bluegrass musician, who travels across the country with her band. When she is not traveling, you can find her working in her local coffee shop. Excellent coffee/specialty coffees with a drive-through for a quick cup of jo. They have simple lunch sandwiches and ice cream all available using the drive-through. There is often live music in the evening and a Church worship service on Sundays.
And my neighbors are lovely. Do feel free to introduce yourself to them if you see them out for a walk or working in the yard. They are all well aware this is an Airbnb property, and they know me very well. Tell them Dawn says hello!
There are many walkers and bikers on the sidewalks and nearby trails in the morning and a great way to meet people and learn more about Garner.
This home has fiber optic cable, provided by AT&T for lightening fast internet.

Excellent facility with accommodations. Highly recommended.
House was well appointed and nicely laid out. Had a musty smell to it. Had to open all the windows to air it out when we arrived.
Great property and location! Had an issue with the hot tub but owner made things right. Great place for a small family gathering and dogs too! Close enough to downtown to enjoy the museums and restaurants. Very much enjoyed our stay.
We have stayed at this property before and can’t say enough good things about it, the owner and location. We had a wonderful stay with our 2 of our grandchildren.
Nice clean house that is close to everything that Raleigh has to offer. Hot tub is great for relaxing in the evening.
The home was clean, great backyard, and plenty of room for 6 adults. The place is close to everywhere we wanted to go. Great restaurants and Breweries in the area as well.
Great house layout and location for a family wedding in Raleigh. The neighborhood is quiet and family friendly. Kitchen was well-stocked. Bedrooms were perfect and beds were comfortable. Owner, Dawn, checked in with us to be sure we were happy upon check in and we were very happy. We will stay again.
Clean
We loved the hot tub and peaceful backyard. Sat out there every morning and night. Kitchen island is an amazing size and made prepping food easy. Bedrooms were comfortable. Would recommend guests to bring or buy a mosquito repellent as summers in NC breed a lot of mosquitoes; once we had that we had no issues with the mosquitoes. Firepit is a great addition, unfortunately we weren’t able to use as the firewood was too wet from the rain the week before but not a big deal as we were plenty occupied with the hot tub and sitting peacefully outside. Couch and living spaces were comfortable and loved the addition of the half bath on the first floor as an extra restroom as needed. Washer and dryer on site was used everyday sometimes several times a day so was perfect to have access to. Dawn is super attentive and easily reached for any needs! Dawn even helped return an Amazon order accidentally sent to the house after our stay and was so gracious about it! Would highly recommend to stay here if you are looking for a nice relaxing stay in NC but don’t want to stay in downtown Raleigh and want to have quick access to the NC Triangle, parks, and stores.
Thoroughly Enjoyed our stay there. The house was just right. Big enough but very cozy. We immediately felt at home here. The backyard is beautiful.
This was a wonderful house to stay in. Very clean, well maintained and beds comfortable, and well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Neighborhhood was quiet and walkable to a lovely nearby park. Close to shopping and plenty of local activities. Fenced back yard was perfect for children and dogs. Would absolutely book again. Thanks again Dawn.
Had a great stay at this house, very clean, lots to cook with in the kitchen, nice back yard
Our family of four had a wonderful five day stay at the Urban Farmhouse. Nicely decorated with all the comforts of home, plus a hottub in a beautiful, secluded yard. Great grocery store only 5 minutes away and downtown Raleigh with places to visit and excellent and varied dining selections 12 to 15 minute drive. I highly recommend this location for a visit to the Triangle!
A beautiful home that had everything we needed. We lived every thing about the place. The backyard was perfect for our dog and a great spot to train Taiji. The jacuzzi, tub and fireplace where just we needed. Have coffee in the morning out back watching the hawks, listening to the birds and watching the pine trees sway in the breeze where just what I needed. Thank you Dawn for a great stay.
We had a great stay at this property. It was conveniently located and extremely comfortable. We would recommend it wholeheartedly.
Had a great week @ the house. What a treat. Everything worked well, place was decorated nicely, & well-stocked. Owner was helpful throughout the stay.
Will definitely recommend and stay again. Appreciated the stay. Thank you. James.
Me and my team travel around the US for work and stay at a lot of locations. This place is one of the best spots we stayed at this year.
We loved our stay at the chicken coup. My boys loved running around out side in backyard with our dog and listening to the chickens next door. We wish it was available for the whole time we needed place stay we would of loved to stay. Dawn was amazing and very helpful
