Allow yourself to indulge in all of life's luxuries when you book a stay at this waterfront Fox Island home, a tranquil escape in nature's paradise! Beautifully appointed and utterly exclusive, you and your loved ones will be able to enjoy the Evergreen State's pleasant weather from the private dock and sprawling deck. Watch the boats go to and fro while preparing cookouts on the gas grill and dining al fresco under the shade of the umbrella.

The property's private dock is your gateway to the unique natural world of Puget Sound. As you relax, keep an eye out for a truly special experience: local wildlife is a frequent and treasured sight. You may spot bald eagles soaring overhead, great blue herons fishing along the shoreline, or even a playful harbor seal swimming in the bay. The area's calm waters are perfect for launching a kayak or paddleboard directly from your private beach, allowing you to get up close with the marine life.

The interior of the home is just as stunning as the outside with its luxury furnishings, high ceilings, and open layout. The gourmet kitchen elegantly gleams with its full suite of stainless steel appliances, center island, and granite countertops. Adjacent to here, the expansive living room boasts a gas fireplace, leather seating, and a Smart TV.

Equally inviting, the home's five bedrooms are lined with warm wood finishes, central air-conditioning, and plush linens. The primary suite comes with its own list of excellent perks like sweeping water views, a fireplace, and a spa-like en suite bathroom. Indulge in yourself while soaking in the bubbling warmth of the tub and rinsing off in the walk-in shower. Additional interior perks include things like a designated work desk, a separate laundry room, and a sunroom.

Beyond your private retreat, Fox Island and the surrounding areas offer a wide array of activities to enjoy year-round. You can explore the scenic trails at the Fox Island Nature Center, go fishing from the Fox Island Fishing Pier, or enjoy a peaceful walk along the beach at the Tacoma DeMolay Sandspit Nature Preserve. For community events, check the local calendar for annual happenings like the Fox Island Fair in August or the festive Christmas Tree Lighting in December. Just a short drive away, the charming town of Gig Harbor provides a variety of shops and restaurants to explore, as well as the scenic Cushman Trail for walking and biking.

Within 20 miles of your stay, take time to visit Titlow Park, Chambers Bay Golf Course, Fort Nisqually Living History Museum, Pantages Theater, and multiple restaurants and shops.

Refrigeration & Freezer Options
We want to make sure you have everything you need to store your food and drinks comfortably during your stay. In the pantry, you’ll find a standard-size stainless steel refrigerator available for all your fresh food needs. There’s also a stand-alone freezer next to the gas grill—perfect for keeping frozen items—and two mini-fridges designated for beverages.

Please note: The large Sub-Zero refrigerator is currently not operational. You're welcome to use it for room-temperature storage (such as dry goods), but it won't keep items cold. We appreciate your understanding and kindly ask that you do not attempt to use it for refrigeration.

Dishwashers
For your convenience, there are two dishwashers in the kitchen. The dishwasher on the left is fully functional and available for your use. The one on the right is currently out of service and will not be replaced at this time. Thank you for helping us keep things running smoothly!

Lovely property, great house size. Clear. Beds were fine, and there were plenty of towels and wash cloths. Interior is a bit tired and kitchen appliances need to be repaired/replaced, and based on other reviews, it looks like this has been an issue fo a while. Also, please provide enough plates and bowls so guests don't have to eat out of pots and off of baking sheets.

DRIFTWOOD VILLA is an extensive home with enough space for a big family or a large group of friends. The beds were comfortable, the floors were clean, the accommodation was comfortable. TVs and appliances were working, even if the big refrigerator was out of order the house did have a smaller full-sized refrigerator in the pantry that was functioning perfectly. The great glass windows were ideal for showcasing the beautiful views of the water and the surrounding area. I wish they had some water toys provided like a pedal boat or kayak to enjoy the water right outside the house. Bring your own life vests and toys to take advantage of the gorgeous Puget Sound. I would definitely visit this waterfront home again in the future.

The location was great, but the lack of bedroom furniture made this place really disappointing.

We saw so much wildlife here it was so much fun watching from the balconies and experiencing harbor seals, seahawks and other birds I do not know the names of. The seals in the cove were the highlight for the kids who had lots of room to spread out and play games and enjoy the weekend. It was a short drive to Point Defiance Zoo and the Sand Spit on the island as well as fishing pier all made for fun outings nearby. The home is well stocked for a good weekend with family and we will be returning for sure. The large kitchen made cooking meals easy and fun with the family all together, would highly recommend the home for holidays or family dinners. The staff were helpful and responsive and answered every question we had.

We recently stayed at this beautiful home with a group of 9 people. The view is incredible and access to the water is easy. We kayaked right from the dock. The common areas are spacious and clean. The bedrooms are roomy and beds/ bedding is comfortable and clean. The master had huge walk in closets and an exceptional view. Parking is a bit tricky if you have bigger vehicles/trucks. If you plan to make while staying be sure to bring measuring tools. Ask for additional towels as well.

Only accurate thing was the # of rooms and location. There were no working TVs and we were told the owner is getting new ones that didn’t help us. Refrigerator wasn’t working and we were told to get ice because the owner wasn’t cooperating. So we went from a luxury rental to glamping. The description of 2 queen beds was wrong one was a full. It was dusty and the toilets were dirty. The water in the bath came out green. Lightbulbs were missing in the living room and laundry room and the recliner on the couch wasn’t working icemaker as listed

The home was plenty big for our large family. The size, number of beds & baths served our family's needs well. The biggest issues were the master bed was broken and very uncomfortable. We were unable to sleep well. Secondly the 2 tvs were old, not smart tvs, and did not have cable connected, so we had no TV all week. We contacted Vacasa, but they weren't helpful. If these two issues are not fixed, I would not recommend this home.
