Stayed Jul 20, 2025We loved our stay at Myra’s Cottage! We were a little concerned about staying on first block but it was a great location! Loved that beach access was right across the road and we had a great view of the ocean! We had a turtle bed at our access and was excited that they would hatch while we were there! They hatched during the night before we left so we didn’t get to see them! It was a wonderful vacation with my family!

Stayed Jul 6, 2025The location is outstanding being just steps from the beach. The views of the ocean are great. There were loggerhead turtle nests marked right within site from our porch. We had a great time.

Stayed Jun 29, 2025Charming home, great porch and friendly for small dogs. Sand spurs and glass were found around the outside of the property which makes pet potty visits difficult. Good thing the beach is right across the street. For the price, would consider renting again.

Stayed May 1, 2025Good for families, but not families with kids younger than about 8, had to do some things like moving the drawer of knives up when we got in so kiddo wouldn't get into them. Porch is great, would be nice if there were a true door latch, being located on a relatively busy road. Please get the roach problem taken care of, I'd say one is not a big deal, they happen in SC, but not 3 in the same area at different times during the stay.andnicehaveppleathaof.

Stayed Sep 12, 2024Myra's Cottage was the perfect beach house for 5 retired teachers. Great front porch with a wonderful unobstructed view of the ocean across the street. Enjoyed being able to walk across the street and step right onto the beach. Comfortable beds and plenty of room to spread out. Definitely plan to come back in the future.

Stayed Aug 30, 2024A group of eight of us came for Labor Day weekend and had the best time. We cooked every meal at the house and really took advantage of the amazing front porch. I would recommend bringing extra supplies such as aluminum foil, trash bags, paper towels, and dish detergent. Luckily, the property is a short distance to the local Food Lion which made getting these extra supplies quick and easy. Major brown points for allowing dogs.

Stayed Aug 20, 2024We enjoyed our stay very much. Older home but that’s what gave it an authentic beach cottage feel. Front porch was awesome - we ate most of our meals there and it was perfect for my 4 yo grandson. Loved that it was directly across from beach access.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a wonderful stay at this home for our daughter’s graduation from MUSC! Well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds! We loved the porch!!
