Better Together

Great home! We enjoyed our stay, close to the beach, loved the front porch. Main family room was ice cold - needed blankets. Upstairs two bedrooms were HOT. Two adult guests had to sleep on the sofas due to the heat upstairs. AC was working, just not cooling upstairs. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

We loved the house- great rooms and beds. Kitchen was functional with adequate utensils to cook with. We all love fresh seafood, so we ate at Whaley's a lot. Had breakfast at the SeaCow to experience the grits. Good. Checked out the local History Museum and retail shops on a rainy day. Spent much time am and pm walking the beach. Did the Gullah and dolphin tours which were both wonderful. Spent much time on the porch just relaxing and reminiscing. thank goodness for the fans as the no see em' came to visit. All in all- a wonderful week. We hope to be back in the future.

Nice house. It was not as clean as I would have liked. The stove had overflowed food in it so it smoked when used. The upstairs bathroom needs some kind of anti slip in tub. We had one person fall and one almost fall. The A/C was freezing, even though I would turn it up to 75 or higher. I would check it and it would read 68 degrees. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

We had an amazing family vacation. We loved the house and will rent again.

The house was within walking distance to the beach so it was perfect for our family! The bedrooms were comfortable and the large dining space accommodated all of the members of our family. We enjoyed the front porch and all of the games that were available too!

We loved everything about this home. The porch swing with the overhead fans, the open family spaces perfect for time together, the shuffleboard-perfect for a heated family game, the fully equipped kitchen, the cozy beds, the easy walk to the beach…. It was a precious house with the warmest neighbors across the streets. We loved the icecream truck that brought us goodies…. It was all wonderful. Thank you.

We enjoyed staying at this house very much. It has a lovely layout so we didn't feel like we were cramped. My husband and I took our 4 adult children and thought the space worked perfectly for gathering in the kitchen or den. It was conveniently located near the beach so it was an easy walk. We also loved playing shuffleboard in the evenings under the house and would definitely return to this house in the future. It had everything we needed!
