Updated sound front home with water & mtn views, fireplace, firepit, balcony

I love this property. We stayed 3 nights in early August 2024. The views are fantastic! The house is great and the location is private. Nice deck. The yard is spacious with mature trees. We saw rabbits, eagles flying in and out of nearby trees, and otters in the water. I can’t say enough good things about this place! If I visit the area again, I will book this home.

5 big stars for location, view, deck space, serene surroundings, comfy beds, open floor plan, large side yard, and management response. 3 stars for everything else. Most inside decor and sparse kitchenware feels/looks thrifted; low quality; like in a hurry to furnish. Tired vibe. Outdoor deck, railing, and all windows were filthy including bird poop(came next day to clean after alerting them). We spent 1 hr cleaning outdoors upon arrival to be comfortable. No board games, nor functional outdoor games. Downstairs tv did not work. One bedsheets smelled like mildew, so we washed them before use. Outdoor gas fire pit has no chairs. Fruit trees and beach are unaccessable. Outside of house had lots of debris and appears neglected. With some better furnishings and outdoor upkeep, this rental would be great.

The home is large and comfortable for family get togethers Fabulous windows that open to beautiful ocean view while eagles soar by while nesting near by. Access to beach would be challenging for young and old. A BBQ would be a nice addition.

We stayed here for our wedding weekend. The house was perfect for our family, very spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view of the sound. We would absolutely stay here again.

The house is spacious and the property grounds are sprawling, beautiful and peaceful. The views from inside and out are phenomenal. The kitchen is a bit barebones for the group of avid cooks, but we got creative and made do with what was there. 5 minute drive to the Commons (Baked Cafe, etc. etc.) for great coffee, pastries, fresh breads, killer smashburgers, ice cream, etc. 7 minutes to the local IGA for groceries or another few minutes down the road for QFC or Haggen in Stanwood.

Imagine a house located in the middle of a several acred park with manicured lawns and plantings with benches located at key viewing points with a large fire pit for s’mores in the evening with seclusion on 3 sides by mature forest of Douglas firs, Ceaders, Blue Spurr trees and on the 4th side the puget sound, the San Juan Islands and the Olempia mountains. To add to the pleasure of this place, eagles are nested in these trees providing their own unique activities. The house over looks the sound from a high bluff that provides an un obstructed view of the water and islands. From inside the house the rooms facing the sound are ceiling to floor windows so as to provide optimum viewing of this lovely seascape. The house provided all we needed for an enjoyable long week. Now locate all this in the heart of the skaggit valley 10 minutes to Inerstate 5 with access to the northern cascade mountains or to Seattle or to the San Juan Islands. All I can say is I’ll be back.

Beautiful quiet property to enjoy the Puget Sound views. Spacious floor plan to accommodate families. The grounds are gorgeous a provide a cozy feel.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Sunset Hideaway on Camano Island and it was a fantastic experience. The property was spacious and perfectly accommodated our needs. It offered a breathtaking view that added to the overall serenity of our stay. Everything was exactly as described in the listing, which is always appreciated. The cleanliness and amenities provided made our visit very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful setting. Looking forward to our next stay!
