Stayed Jul 23, 2022We had a horrible experience and I highly recommend you do not book this property!!!! Issues we had: The house was not clean, and there were spiders throughout the house, especially in the basement bedrooms. The house was advertised as having 5 bedrooms/6 queen/king beds, which we thought would be suitable and spacious enough for our party of 11. We found out when we got there that 2 of the bedrooms/3 beds were located in the basement. This was NOT specified in the listing. In addition, these bedrooms violated Pennsylvania egress code requirements. The tiny basement windows were not able to be opened from the inside, which caused a significant fire hazard. We had planned for the children to sleep here (as the master bedroom was upstairs), but were obviously extremely uncomfortable to let our children remain down there. In addition, there was a horrible odor throughout the entire basement, and there was no ventilation or AC vents. There were NO photos of these basement bedrooms in the listing. The property was advertised as having a spacious backyard - our party was looking forward to utilizing the yard - we brought outdoor games and activities. Upon arrival, we saw that the backyard was in un-usable condition. It had not been mowed in several weeks - the grass was up to our mid-calves. In addition, there were broken tiles, glass and other debris, some extremely sharp and dangerous for children, scattered around in piles close to the outside patio.
