Welcome to the Water Lily Cottage! Located in the much desired oceanfront community of Coast Cottages, this charming 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom home has it all! Views of marshes from three coastal front porch balconies will rock all of your worries away while you view the wildlife at your doorstep. Located only 325 yards from the ocean front Coast Cottages Pool Pavilion and beach access, this home will allow guests to have access to some of the best amenities on the island. The Coast Cottages Pool Pavilion offers private gated access to two oceanfront pools, private beach boardwalk access to some of the widest and calmest waters on St. Simons Island.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount of $40/night is included in each reservation. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and even experiences with select vendors! – the choice is yours!

Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (8 persons). Group events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, student groups, etc. are strictly prohibited.

Upon entering the Water Lily, guests will find two guest bedrooms, both with en suite full bathrooms as well as a laundry area. The first guest bedroom offers one Queen bed and the second guest bedroom offers two Queen beds. On the second floor, guests will find a wonderful open concept floor plan with a newly updated appliances in the kitchen, a large 55 HD Smart TV, a comfortable living space and plenty of seating around the dining table (6) and bar seating (4). The secondo floor balcony is a great space to enjoy morning coffee of evening cocktails while watching the sunset over the marsh. Enjoy grilling The new Weber gas grill located on the back side of the cottage will be the perfect spot to grill your catch of the day! The fun spiral staircase will take guests to the third floor balcony with a birds eye view of the marshes below. The primary bedroom suite is located off of the living area and is a wonderful escape featuring a king bed with a en suite bathroom with a large soaking tub and a walk-in shower.

Details of the Heated Community Pool:
From Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon every weekend between September 22 and May 21.
Thanksgiving weekend from Wednesday afternoon through Sunday afternoon
Christmas week from December 24 afternoon through January 1 afternoon
Spring Break from March 15 through April 15.
Any other days may be heated upon request for $50 per day, paid in advance to SSCCNA.
Pool heating is not available (nor desirable) from May 22 through September 21.

Sanitation / Disinfection during COVID-19: Lilmar Properties has always been committed to providing our guests with rental properties that are properly cleaned and sanitized. Starting May 1, 2020, we will be providing an extra layer of sanitation and disinfection for our arriving guests. All properties will be treated (on frequently touched items, such as doorknobs, faucets, switches, etc.) with a U.S. EPA approved disinfectant product that kills the COVID-19 after our regular housekeeping process is completed.

    Great location to pool and beautiful beach and restauants. The house was immaculately clean. The beds were very comfortable with great linens. I don't normally cook on vacation because the kitchens are usually sub par for cooking this the kitchen was amazingly stocked.

    Came for a family getaway and was so pleased with Water Lily Cottage. Worked well for our family- communication from the hosts was prompt and we had everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. Loved that each room had its own bathroom. Short walk to the beach and loved all the places to hang out on the porches.     We had a wonderful time. Very close to the beach, next to the St. Simons WWII museum, close to shops and restaurants. It was very clean and inviting. We cooked one night; the kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials including some extras. We will be back, thank you.

    Fantastic property in a terrific beachside neighborhood. We enjoyed the more remote location within the development, a bit farther from the beach but quieter marsh views. All properties look at too many large SUVs. It would be great if they offered remote parking and encouraged everyone to walk/bike the neighborhood. Fantastic management company operates with military precision. Best for immediate families of 5 or 6. More will be uncomfortable. We loved the flipped layout with living spaces upstairs and bedrooms downstairs but may be challenging for less mobile folks. Pools are OK. We will return!
