This was a wonderful property for my group. The home is spacious and there are multiple seating/hangout areas for everyone. It was easy to get to as it's on the main road and there's lots of parking. The home is really clean, spacious and the kitchen is well stocked with all the kitchen items you could possibly need to entertain. The views out the back window were so lovely and private. It was winter and there was lots of snow, so we didn't venture out, but loved looking out. Ian was very helpful and quick to communicate. He even was so kind as to print off something I needed and help push a car out of the snow when my guest went the wrong way. 4 of the beds were King beds which was so nice and there was lots of closet space. I highly recommend booking this chalet and also #2 chalet if you have a bigger group.

Lovely stay with a multi generational family. Lots of space for everyone with easy access to trails and the beach. Would definitely look into staying again.

A lovely home with a beautiful setting. The home is welcoming and spacious. Has both a informal and formal dining area. Kitchen is well stocked and roomy. Bedrooms also are spacious. One of the rooms is uniquely suited for preteens/teens to have their own space (beds, couch and TV.). We had an easy communication with the host. This home will not disappoint.

Everything was great! Perfect location for our daughter's wedding at the Fraser River Lodge.

We had a last minute change that affected the number of Bedrooms from 6 to 4 due to unforeseen maintenance issues.We were able to make it work. The kitchen garbage was not taken out and the downstairs toilet was clogged. The host was extremely accommodating and easy to reach. Overall the stay was great & I would highly recommend this VRBO

We actually stayed in Chalet 2&3. The morning we were to depart we received an email telling us the air conditioning had broken and couldn’t be fixed for our stay. The owners generously charged us the same for both chalet’s. The rooms are spacious. The beds are extremely comfortable. The house was clean and had most of the kitchen utensil we needed. This was a 50th wedding anniversary party and it couldn’t have gone better. The bride loved the soaker tub and relaxed in it with a glass of red wine. Just pardon the pun soaking it all in. There were 13 of us in total, and there was room to spare most of the day was spent in chalet two. The yard is incredible. So many trails and spots to explore the granddaughters had a blast.

Just stayed at the chalet in August 2025. The chalet #1 is very big and spacious! Great for large family or multi families. The bathroom are very big and they all have tubs. The main bathroom has a tub and shower. The rooms are very large. Kitchen had everything we needed from cutlery to zip lock bags. Bbq section is very nice to hang out on the patio. The lake is about a 4-5 minute drive very easy to get to. The cleaning of the property definitely needs improvements. There were lots of flies inside the house and even some large aunts and spiders. The portable fans were super dusty and when turned out just blew out dust. One of the members of our party had bites all over his neck and face the next day which could have been from a bed bug but cannot confirm. Overall the place looked well kept minus the bugs. The bathrooms were clean.

Overall our stay was very good. It was clean and tidy. Everyone enjoyed themselves.

the indoor space was generous for 9 people and close to everything

We had a great stay. This property is amazing for large groups. Lots of space in the house and the back yard is great for games and exploring. The property manager was easy to contact and communication was very easy and quick.

We were extremely impressed by how clean this house was. We have been going away for over 23 years as a group and would say this is the cleansed house we have stayed in. The room are very spacious. The garden area was a nice and quite to sit and read. The owners answered our questions in a timely manner. The only downside was there is not cable only Netflix and we wanted to watch the hockey.

It was a wonderful property and family stay. The shared common garden and trails were beautiful and the house was well equipped, well labeled and clean. Towels were fluffy and plenty. We had a bit of a mishap with checking in and the door code didn’t work properly, but it was quickly rectified with the host, she was apologetic and went above and beyond for us to make up for the inconvenience. We were only rushing to another commitment so needed to drop off the luggage asap. Plenty of parking for a big family. Will come back to stay at other chalet/suite!

This place met/exceeded our expectations for a group of 9 to celebrate the bride-to-be. A home away from home. We'll be back!

We ended up washing almost every dish on arrival, due to food still stuck to over half of every dish we checked.

Very spacious. Great outdoor garden area. Along busy highway but noise was not a problem.

We had a lovely time. Our 8 adults and 5 children were able to sleep comfortably and the chalet was well equipped. The children loved the magical forested area behind the chalet and played imaginative games together there every day!
