Stayed Sep 20, 2024A really unique location in a converted boathouse right on the waterfront. When not out and about we spent a happy time just sitting watching the tide come in and out with loads of bird-life and passing cruise linsers. Right by Waitrose for emergency shopping and very short walk to restaurants

Stayed Aug 17, 2024This was our second stay at the Boat House. The location is unbeatable for us. It is a short from family has beautiful views over the water and is a stones throw from all the amenities Hythe offers. On the doorstep are a church, Lidl, Waitrose, Superdrug, pub, post office, restaurants and coffee shops. The house is on three levels with three bathrooms, very convenient for families, and parking is a bonus. We would highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.

Stayed Aug 3, 2024The Boathouse was an excellent stay. The views of the cruise ships going by was so interesting. Hythe is on your doorstep and we picked up a few things from the local shops. My husband fished from the jetty at front of property and my daughter sat on the balcony and crafted all day. We visited Southamption using the Hythe ferry which was great as we didn’t always need the car. We hope to visit again in the future. The weather was excellent as well.

Stayed Jul 20, 2024A nice comfortable house with a great view of Southampton Water. Well furnished and kitted out. There are a range of shops and restaurants (literally) across the road in Hythe, and the whole New Forest on your doorstep.

Stayed Jul 5, 2024Lovely place to watch the ships passing and wander along the foreshore, shops very handy, no noise of passing traffic. House lovely but stairs are steep for the elderly. Washing Machine is in the outside storeroom. Pity it rained for most of our holiday!

Stayed Jun 16, 2024This was our third stay, it's slightly quirky but all the better for it. The view is simply fantastic, always something to look at. Only the two of us so lots of room to spread out. Hythe is not your typical tourist trap and we find the locals, particularly in the pub and chippy, to be very friendly. Hope to be back!

Stayed May 10, 2024This home is in walking distance of shopping but very quiet and peacefull. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the birds and seeing various ships leaving Southampton.
