Unique Victorian Experience Near Everything

The house is quite nice and roomy. The finishing touches are still in the works (e.g., no yard yet and front doors to nowhere as steps not yet built but access to the house on the side and thru the garage). It could use a few rugs to help deaden normal noises/voices. Bathmats would be a nice add and a 10:00am check out is preferable to 9:00am. The location is short ride to any of the major attractions in the area. Overall, I would recommend and stay again.

We rented the house for our family to stay in for our wedding weekend. It was the perfect size for what we needed and close proximity to our own home. If you need a home for family to stay in for a wedding or other family event it is perfect!!

This is a gorgeous refurbished Victorian! Very spacious with nice amenities - lots of room for our family of five and dog. Communication with the manager was great. The house could use some insulation, ie rugs and other furniture, to reduce the echo and hearing all the noises throughout the house. Extra towels, and hangers in the upstairs closets would be helpful too. The manager gave us a half hour of extra time which we really needed, but the original check out time of 9am is way too early. Standard checkout is 11am or noon.

House had plenty of room. We liked the game room upstairs.

We are happy ti share that our stay at this lovely place went very well. The location was perfect, the roominess of the property was quite pleasing.

This house is massively accommodating being pet-friendly with 4 king-sized bedrooms, which was great for our multifamily overnight. Fully stocked kitchen and two refrigerators. Game room on top floor made for fun activities! Cons of this place were the noise levels— there is no sound absorption (rugs, fabric furniture)- which is understandable for a rental-but lots of bouncing noise and not a “cozy” environment. Another con is the 9am checkout time. Takes away opportunity for quality morning time together as a family. Communication with the host, besides the initial booking and day of check-in, was either absent or minimally discussive. Not helpful nor friendly, but we are thankful for the accommodation. Beautiful neighborhood.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had 8 adults and our goldendoodle. All communication with the owner/manager went well. Having 4 king bedrooms was perfect. Because we were in town for our son’s wedding, I wish we had had access to a full length mirror during our stay. The only other improvement that could be made is to leave out more than one towel and washcloth per person. For any traveler, much less those attending a wedding, washing towels daily was a chore.

The house was great for what we needed. Ours was an extended family trip - had 7 of us in total including two children. Very spacious and clean. 3rd floor game room was a hit, especially with the kids. Yard is a work in progress, but that's no big deal. Owner is obviously continuing work to improve the property. If we have another need for a property this size we would definitely consider coming back here!

The house was great and served our purposes. It seems to be a work in progress still as the walls are not all painted and there are appliances in the garage. We didn't need to, but if it were winter we wouldn't have been able to park in the garage. The 3rd level game room was bonus but unfortunately we couldn't take advantage of it because we had family functions to attend. Owner/manager was very responsive.
