Well appointed, had everything we needed and more. The morning sun greeted us on the deck for our morning coffee as we watched the Quidi Vidi fisherman leave for their day at sea, a splendid sight! Loved every minute of being there and will return for sure on our next trip to NFLD!

Hi, The view our the back door was stunning…everything else was bad. First there were bugs all over, even in the cabinets. Second, we had a rain storm and you could hear water running down the walls inside and we had to put out pots to catch the dripping water, and when we called our host the basically said the owner was aware of it and short of the ceiling falling in nothing was to be done. It smelled like pat and mouse poop, and they tried to cover it up with perfume scented sprays. Carpenter work stilled need to be done in numberous places, and light fixtures in the upper bath did not work. The pictures they used in their advertising were very miss leading (making it look much better then it was.). Gordon (the host) was difficult to deal with and always (over talked you) when you were trying to rationally express concerns and problems with over charges. The church is very close to the road so no privacy with people walking by and looking into your windows….That’s why I say it would be good for a Coffee shop, IF THEY CLEANED AND TOOK CARE OF THE FUMES.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this fascinating historical property! Its location is to die for! Many unique features of the 1834 church have been preserved while adding modern amenities in a fully equipped kitchen and accessible shower/bathroom. A well lived in home where the owners provide all that guests need to feel completely 'at home'. The host,Gordon,
