Lovely older home, great location with nice neighbors, great kitchen and we loved the balcony for late night visits and card games. Host was very responsive. We had six adults, used all 4 bedrooms and we were very comfortable! Would definitely stay again. Lots of stairs!

Did not realize that there were two internal staircases in the apartment. Needed child gates for our 2 year old. Otherwise our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Nice location. Quiet street.

Perfect location for our needs and place is spacious. Cobwebs on window sills and creamer packets were spoiled, but nice to have plenty of Keurig pods for our weekend. Would stay again due to location for our needs.

Enjoyed the balcony and appreciated the window AC and fan units. The neighborhood had a local coffee/tea shop which was less than half mile walk. We dd not watch tv but played games and cards during evening hours. Easy location for visiting tourist spots and lical restraunts. Thankfully we had no issues with the street parking. The place had plenty of room for adults and enjoy family time. The bedrooms were spacious for quiet times. I would return to this location and recommend. There are aprox 20 stairs to get to main floor.

We had a wonderful stay in a great location in Highland Park. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful and near to the zoo and aquarium. The home is a beautiful old spacious home and was a great place to connect with family. We were in town for a wedding and it was nice to be able to walk to the church and reception space. If you love antiques, the home is full of them and you’ll love it! If you like a more streamlined open space feel, you may want to look elsewhere One thing to note is that the home is on the 2nd and third floors of the house and you must be able to climb up 20 stairs to the main which is the 2nd floor of the house and 20 more to the 3rd floor for the two bedrooms and bath up there. The apartment was not sparkling clean but was not bad. There are was some dust here and there which must be hard to keep up with due to the many antiques. We appreciated that it was very easy to connect with the manager, who fixed a problem in timely manner. The beds were comfortable. Overall, we had a good stay.

After I had paid and booked this place I was charged an extra fee for insurance. This was NOT mentioned in the listing. When I inquired it took 2 days for a real person to respond to me. Parking and getting into the house are easy, however, there are two flights of steps-the first flight is 18 steps and must be taken to get to the main level. We are all senior citizens and weren't aware of this. We had someone with us that has a very hard time with steps. She dealt with it the best she could, and it was okay since she stayed on that level with that bathroom. The following morning we had no hot water, had to take cold showers, then we couldn't get the water to turn off. This was not a trickle of water, but full open flow from the tap. The host was unresponsive for several hours. Later I received a message that said the tap wasn't working, for us to use the upstairs bathroom-which was another 17 step STEEP flight. When we got back, the shower had duct tape on it. This was highly upsetting because that is why we booked this house was for the 2 full bathrooms. My friend could not shower because of steps. I asked if we would be reimbursed partially for this inconvenience and have not gotten a response. Apparently, once the money is taken no one checks the messages, and you are left to a chatbot. In addition, the dishwasher was full, stagnant water was laying in the washer, and there was a bag of rotten potatoes under the sink. Not a very pleasant stay.

Close to many things to do and places to eat in Pittsburgh. The was definitely a highlight of our trip. Thank you!

We loved this comfortable two-story home with lots of character. There is a coffee shop, market, and restaurants within a ten-minute walk, and a beautiful park a little beyond. Easy street parking made this a wonderful base for our adventures in Pittsburgh, and the fun vintage furniture made the house lovely to stay in. We had a great time reading, eating, and seeing the town. The hosts were responsive and welcoming. Definitely recommended!

This beautiful older property is half of a duplex in a single family house in Pittsburgh. The living/dining room was perfect for us to gather as a family. It was inviting, pretty, but comfortable. To enter, you climb a few steps up to a front porch. Once you open both the main door and the door to the apartment, there's a small entry way with a bench and a flight of stairs. Second floor has the kitchen and two bedrooms, and the living/dining room. One more flight up is the master bedroom and another bedroom with 2 twin beds. We enjoyed our stay. We took several walks to Highland Park and liked the neighborhood.

The house felt immediately relaxing and pleasant. Beautiful open staircase, well covered floors, tastefully decorated with antique furniture, but comfortable modern beds and appliances. Loved the round turret and the sun coming through the stained glass dogwood blossoms in the master bedroom. Would definitely go back!
