Stayed May 28, 2026We loved bringing our dog with us to this property. The check in process was seamless and the host was very responsive even after hours. The property was a bit outdated but the lake view was spectacular. The property listing was accurate. For the price, this was a good trip.

Stayed Sep 13, 2025I've stayed here many times in the past. It was very clean and tidy. Had everything I needed. Peaceful and quiet. I need to cook, so am always happy to stay where the kitchen is fully equipped. The beach is 34 steps down, but when you get there it's always a WOW moment. I love it there.

The property was comfortable and had all the essentials we needed. The views were stunning, and we were thrilled to witness the northern lights, a comet, and even a halo moon, (which we’ve never seen before)! The lake and fall colors added so much beauty to the experience. It’s a great place to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of northern Michigan. We’d definitely recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

Perfect weather all week made for lots of time spent strolling the beach, making stone flowers in the sand, collecting fossilized rocks, and watching the beautiful sunsets and moonsets (super moon week). Couldn't believe how calm the lake was and how refreshing to get in the water. The cottage was so relaxing and had everything we needed to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable.
