Welcome to Bayside Package Deal, we hope to host you for your visit to San Diego! Please read through our detailed description below to learn more about the property and booking terms. 

This duplex is one of a kind on the San Diego vacation rental market! Bring your kids with their friends or the whole family, the combined units sleep 15! It is located right on the Mission Bay boardwalk, steps to the sand and only 2 blocks from the ocean!

You really get the package deal when renting these unit’s together, more beds and baths, 2 full kitchens and 4 garage parking spaces! The property has a front unit and a back unit and you have full access to both! The front unit has three levels of balconies overlooking Mission Bay, including a ground level patio that sits right on the boardwalk, steps from the sand. You’ll never get tired of watching the boats on the bay! With easy access to the sand, you’ll also be able to keep a close eye on the kids. Each unit has a gorgeous master suite with enough room to keep a little one with you if need be, or to enjoy your privacy! Every bedroom has beds, fresh linens, plenty of closet space and smart TV. Each unit also has its own washer and dryer.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY
The front unit, “3 Levels of Bay Views”, has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 10. Enter directly from the patio, steps from the sand, to the living room, kitchen and dining room. Doors and windows open right up to the patio and boardwalk on Mission Bay, perfect people watching!

The second level has 2 guest rooms and a newly renovated guest bath. The bedrooms each have access to the shared balcony. The first guest room has a queen bed and its own smart TV. The second guest room has a bunk bed, with a full bed bottom bunk and twin bed on the top bunk. There’s also a twin size floor mattress underneath the bunk beds and smart TV in this room as well!

The master bedroom suite occupies the entire third floor. With a king size bed and floor to ceiling windows you will never want to leave! The master bath has a separate standing shower and soaking tub as well. You will love how big this space is, great for parents with little ones to be together. There is also a private balcony looking over the bay here.

The back unit, “Charming Mission Beach Retreat” has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 6. The main level, a short staircase up from the front entry, is an open floor plan living room, dining room, and kitchen with bar seating. A great space to share! An outside balcony, with a gas grill, has access from kitchen and dining area making grilling dinner super convenient! The kitchen is stocked for meal prep, dining, and entertaining! The living room is equipped with a Smart TV. You'll also find the washer and dryer tucked away in a closet on this level, along with a full guest bathroom and guest bedroom. This bedroom has a new cozy queen size bed, mirrored closet and TV! Walk upstairs to the master bedroom suite, with a king size bed, private balcony and bath.

Level 3: Primary suite (King) with en-suite remodeled bath, balcony, large closet with twin bed inside.

THE LOCATION
Mission Beach is a laid-back neighborhood whose 2 miles of sandy shores attract surfers, sunbathers and volleyball players. Locals and visitors alike enjoy the paved walking and biking paths that curl around Mission Bay, a popular spot for water sports and family beach days. Casual cafes and eateries line Mission Boulevard, the single road that runs between the Pacific Ocean and Mission Bay. Nearby Belmont Park has tons of dining and entertainment options for all ages in addition to the world-famous Mission Beach boardwalk and Giant Dipper Roller Coaster! Just blocks away from the ocean and bay, you’ll experience the best of the beach!

You will find yourself centrally located in America’s Finest City with convenient access to the county's most excellent attractions including the world famous San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park, Balboa Park, Seaport Village and Harbor, prestigious La Jolla, historic Gaslamp Quarter and much more. Uber, Lyft, Taxis and the local bus system are readily available for your convenience, as well as bike rental shops up and down popular Mission Blvd.

BOOKING TERMS
Per the cancellation policy, eligible cancellations may receive a full refund less credit card processing fees. These non-refundable fees are charged by the payment processor at the time of booking and typically range from 3.9% to 4.7% of the total transaction amount.  There is no grace period for Credit Card fees.  Once booked credit card fees apply and can not be refunded.

Good Neighbor Policy: This home is surrounded by OWNER OCCUPIED homes. While we understand the Primary Renter and guests are on vacation, the home owners are not. Therefore, we respectfully request Primary Renter and Guests display behavior that is becoming of a typical neighborhood environment. Home owners across San Diego are banning together to eliminate the rentals of private homes as vacation homes. Please help us preserve our right to rent by being respectful neighbors.

NOISE/NO PARTIES: Quiet hours are strictly enforced, 10 pm – 8 am per city ordinance. This property has ZERO TOLERANCE for noise, parties or loud music which includes any excessive daytime noise, cursing, yelling or screaming. Fines will be applied for complaints. Drinking games of any kind ie: beer die, pong, funnels etc. and music that is audible past the property line are strictly prohibited. Immediate eviction can result if these rules are broken.

San Diego Municipal Code 59.5.0502 states that at all times; any amplified sound that can be heard 50 feet away from the rented residence is prohibited. Between 10 PM and 8 AM, even normal conversation must be moved inside the rented residence. Per SDMC 51.1004 and California Penal Code 415.2 noise violations can result in fines (Up to $1,000) for property owners and Renters if there are repeated calls for noise violations to one address. Renters will be liable for any and ALL noise violation fines charged to the property owner. Excessive Noise disruptions can result in immediate eviction without the right to a refund of rental fees or security deposits.

Drugs/ Alcohol: Use of illegal/illicit drugs by any Renter, Guest, Occupant or Visitor in or on the grounds is strictly prohibited. Consumption of alcoholic beverages by a minor under 21 years of age is strictly prohibited.

No Smoking of ANY kind: This is a non-smoking property, both in and on the property. A fee of $1,000.00 will be charged for violation of this rule, plus any costs incurred to remove smoke odor or damage. Smoking includes but is not limited to: cigarette, cigar, marajuana, cocaine, incense, or vaping. While Marajuana is legal in the state of California it is NOT allowed on this property.

Properties are subject to exterior patrol by our staff and homeowner. If Renters are causing a nuisance, having a party, acting detrimentally toward the property, breaking the noise curfew or any stated rules and regulations we reserve the right to terminate the rental agreement, without refund, and immediately remove Renters and guests from the property. Absolutely no disturbances are allowed within this home or anywhere on the property premises. We also reserve the right to refuse occupancy if a house party is suspected.

Our neighbors are very, very sensitive to vacation rentals as it affects their right to live in a peaceful environment therefore we will enforce these policies in exchange for the privilege of renting this home as a vacation rental. The City of San Diego has adopted stricter guidelines for vacation properties and bad operators will not be allowed to rent their homes. If the actions of the Renter and their guests are detrimental to our right to rent as a vacation rental we reserve the right to evict and retain any rental fees and/or security deposits and will report abuse to the rental platforms and will take legal action against Renter if their behavior results in loss of permits.

Guest Occupancy:
Occupancy: The maximum occupancy for this Rental Agreement shall not exceed the number stated on the reservation. Only primary Renter and guests accounted for on the reservation are allowed to be on the property.

Age Restrictions: Primary Renter must be 25 years or older. Guests must be 25 years or older. Parents and children excluded.

No Subletting: If Renter can not keep the reservation please alert us as soon as possible so we can assist in re-renting the unit. If the unit is not re-rented and at the rate of the current reservation Renter will not be refunded their rental fees.

If excessive cleaning is needed, Renter will be charged $100/hour, or actual charges, whichever is greater.

    This beach house is great. It is well appointed and perfectly situated on the bay, and very near good restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops. Cindy was very responsive to our inquiries and requests.

    This property was just what we were looking for so we could enjoy a family vacation in the San Diego area with our adult daughters and their families. The location was perfect for 5 grandchildren under 4 to enjoy playing on the beach. Well equipped for people of all ages... beach toys, boogie boards, paddle boards and more. Plenty of beach towels and convenient to the ocean, playgrounds, and places to get food. Just as it was advertised!

    We had a wonderful time. All my children and grandchildren were together. The little ones ranged in age from 7-10. What a perfect spot…right on the beach. The house had all the toys, chairs and beach towels we needed. It was wonderful.

    We had both units for us, my kids and grandkids. It had everything we needed for the beach, chairs, paddle boards boogie boards and plenty of beach towels. There was even a bike in one garage. The beds were comfy. We had everything between the 2 kitchens. Our prop manager Cindy responded to my inquiries in a very timely fashion and was great. The beach is perfect for the kids and for our adult games as well. What a view!

    This was the perfect place to meet up with our adult kids and their family since we live in different states. Having the two units with two separate kitchens was great. We were able to cook breakfast in the back unit and dinner/BBQ in the front unit. The kitchen was well stocked with plates and cups for adults and plastic plates and cups for the little ones. Pack-n-play available in both units with even baby gates. The children had access to play on the bayside or walk over to the beach. We especially liked the fact that by being away from the beach we didn’t have the winds and it was warmer. We were pleasantly surprised at how well the garage was stocked with water toys for both young and old. Even beach chairs to use for our s’mores evening. We had a company come out to set up the camp fire across from the unit as indicated in the VRBO guideline. The management company was great to work with any issues. Very accommodating and efficient. A very nice, relaxing time enjoyed by all for our family vacation. We look forward to coming again.

    Great vacation rental! Great location right on the bayside! Home has everything you need for great vacation!!! Home is fully stocked, plus everything you need for the beach! Paddle boards, boggie boards, beach chairs, beach towels , beach’s toys for the kids! Something for everyone in the family! Also the Wi-Fi was great for being able to work a little bit from my Laptop! This is our second year staying here and it’s another successful/ amazing vacation!

    We were extremely pleased with the property, being right on the bay, & all the amenities… but more importantly the property manager! I had emailed & asked if there was a muffin tin… within minutes of our arrival we were brought a tin! Excellent service!

    An amazing house on Mission Bay that is ideal for getting around town and enjoying the atmosphere of the beach. Wonderful clean sandy beach on the bay to fish, toss a frisbee or football. We had a great. Highly recommend this location.
