Welcome to The Atlas House at Glen Eagle—a spacious, design-forward home built for gathering, connection, and the way people actually travel today.

Located just minutes from the North Gate of the United States Air Force Academy, this 3,400-square-foot home serves as a refined basecamp for families, professionals, and groups who want both space to come together and room to spread out. Whether you're here for an Academy milestone, a Colorado getaway, or a working retreat, this home is designed to support how modern travelers live, move, and connect.

A HOME WITH A TRAVELER’S SPIRIT

This is more than a large house—it’s a home built around a global mindset. Open, flexible, and intentionally laid out, the space reflects the kind of living that comes from experience: shared meals, late-night conversations, quiet corners to recharge, and room for everyone to feel both together and independent.

As the home continues to evolve, its design will incorporate more globally inspired elements—but its foundation is already here: comfort, adaptability, and a sense of place that feels welcoming no matter where you're coming from.

MAIN LEVEL – WHERE EVERYTHING COMES TOGETHER

Step inside to soaring wood ceilings and a bright, open-concept layout that immediately sets the tone. The main level is built for connection—whether that’s a family gathering, a pre-event brunch, or a strategy session over coffee.

The chef’s kitchen anchors the space, offering expansive prep areas and a layout that keeps whoever’s cooking part of the conversation. The living and dining areas flow seamlessly, with large windows bringing in natural light and views of the surrounding trees and Colorado sky.

UPPER LEVEL – PRIVATE, COMFORTABLE, RESTFUL

Upstairs is dedicated to rest and privacy. The primary suite offers a true retreat, with a king bed and spa-style bathroom designed for decompressing after long days out.

Additional bedrooms provide flexible sleeping arrangements for families and groups, allowing everyone to stay together while maintaining their own space.

LOWER LEVEL – SECOND LIVING SPACE + GUEST WING

The walk-out lower level creates a completely separate zone—ideal for multi-generational groups or teams that need breakout space.

With two additional bedrooms and a large rec/media room (plus sleeper sofa), this level works as both a private guest wing and an entertainment hub. Movie nights, kids’ hangouts, or late-night work sessions all have a place here—without interrupting the main level.

OUTDOOR LIVING – COLORADO, DONE RIGHT

Outside, the experience continues.

Start the day on the private sport court with basketball or pickleball, and end it around the fire pit as the sun drops behind the mountains. The deck and patio spaces give you multiple ways to enjoy the quiet, upscale Glen Eagle setting—whether that’s morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening air.

LOCATION THAT ACTUALLY WORKS

You’re:

* 5 minutes to the United States Air Force Academy North Gate

* 7 minutes to Ford Amphitheater

* 15 minutes to Garden of the Gods

* Under an hour to Denver

It’s a location that lets you spend your time doing—not driving.

BUILT FOR MORE THAN VACATIONS

This home is ideal for:

* Family gatherings and Academy events

* Corporate offsites and executive retreats

* Legal or professional “war rooms”

* Extended stays and relocations

If you need recommendations, coordination, or support, the iTrip Colorado Springs team can help make the logistics seamless.

For proximity to USAFA and the large space, you cannot go wrong. However, this property is looking a little tired and the cleaning is subpar. The vacuum cleaner was left out at the front door. We rented it to host and feed multiple families. So the pictures of the backyard were enticing. However, the lawn was completely dead, the back patios had not been swept and there was a pair of dirty socks left out near the patio furniture. For guests coming in the summertime, the upstairs rooms are outfitted with window air-conditioning units. It was hard to cool the upstairs rooms. I turned on all three units. It must have blow a fuse because when we returned that evening, two of the upper rooms had no power. We could not find a fuse box so it must have been in the locked garage. Also, the bottom rack of the dishwasher was missing most of it's wheels. It made cleaning up after feeding large groups tougher.

This house was great for us - lots of room over 4 levels and a lovely outside. Kitchen was stocked, and in a perfect location for the 2 families staying at the house. Sound does travel quite well across all 4 levels.I normally don’t write negative things about the houses we stay in, however I believe that there are things that future renters need to be aware of and that the management company needs to address.
The largest issues was the lack of door knobs on the bedrooms. In place, there are electronic locks that self close making it possible to lock yourself out, and forget about quietly exiting a room to allow your significant other to sleep in. We found them a bit creepy and think they should be replaced. Thankfully we were with family and when possible just left the doors mostly closed, but not locked, but then they did not latch either. In addition, there were multiple basic supply and maintenance Issues that need to be addressed or future renters need to be aware of:
- Upper Oven does not heat to appropriate temperatureBottom Bathroom door will not lockFridge Water dispenser sticks and spills water on the floorPool table was in poor condition for useVery cheap single ply toilet paperHand soap very watered down and not pleasant or effective to useOther basic maintenance issues provided other mgmt company

Check-in was very easy.. We loved the house. The kitchen was very functional and the back yard fire pit area was great. The only thing that could have made it better would be central air.

The house was just what we needed for our family of twelve to stay for a week. Everything was just as listed. We even enjoyed wild life right ouside the back door, a family of deer, various birds and even a bear! The views were beautiful.

Perfect place for our family vacation. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out, but also great areas for us all to hang out. Had a small issue with gas being turned off by the gas company (not at all the fault of the property manager), but the property manager got it straightened out in no time with no disruptions for us. Great location and easy access to restaurants, shopping, etc. Plenty of parking. Overall, a great place and would definitely recommend and stay in again.

The house has amazing views, mule deer in the backyard everyday. It is in a great location, convenient to lots of sightseeing and shopping. The home is older and a few things were worn, but very clean and LOTS of space for extended family

We had an absolute perfect stay with our adult family for our daughter’s wedding in nearby Black Rock. We had everything we needed, with the perfect amount of space for relaxing , bonding and even cooking big family meals. Felt like home away from home.

This property was a perfect fit for our water polo tournament at the Air Force Academy. It comfortably accommodated four couples with a bedroom to spare. Minutes from the USAFA, dining and local attractions. Property was exactly as described. 5 ⭐️
