Typical Costa Brava villa with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, swimming pool and sea view

Great location and great house. Some of the furniture was dated, but everything was clean and tidy and air conditioning worked well. Nice pool and fantastic view over the sea and the port of Palamós!

We stayed in the house from June 28 to July 12 2025.The positive:Overall, it is a lovely house with a great location and an exceptional view.The area around the pool is nice.The negative:The house is in serious need of maintenance and was VERY dirty.The air conditioning on the lower floor did not work, and after days wait, a repairman arrived but was unable to fix it.The drain on the lower floor was also clogged, although this was eventually addressed after a few days. However, the repairman mentioned that the fix was only temporary, and the issue would likely return soon. Fortunately, it did not recur during our stay.There was a strong musty smell on the lower floor, like in a basement.We spent about 10 hours cleaning upon arrival – there was no proper cleaning equipment, so we purchased this at our own expense.Drawers, shelves, and cabinets were VERY dirty throughout the house.The dishes and kitchen utensils were partially dirty.There were no ceiling lights in the bedrooms.Several outdoor bulbs were broken.Grout in both the kitchen and bathrooms was partly deteriorated, moldy, and dirty.There was NO vacuuming done under the beds.We were invaded by ants – and there were no ant traps provided.One of the bathrooms had a strong sewage smell.There were many other small things that needed fixing.There was communication with the landlord about some of these issues, but the days passed and the only thing that was fixed was the drain.Not recommendable!

We had a wonderful stay in Costa Brava! The location was perfect, a short walk to the beach and conveniently close to a couple of supermarkets. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, ideal for a relaxing getaway. We loved the lovely swimming pool and the stunning views from the patio. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, including pots and pans, a Nespresso machine, and a microwave (an electric or a gas stove kettle would be a nice addition, though ;) ). Communication was prompt and clear, and the check-in/check-out process was seamless. Overall, it was an incredibly enjoyable stay, and we'd love to return!
