Two Bedroom Home in the Heart of West Colorado Springs

Inside pictures were pretty spot on but the outside property was not at all what you would have expected.

The property had everything we needed! Owner was quick to respond to any questions. We loved the extra thoughtfulness they put into welcoming their guests. Would definitely recommend!

Great location, clean, dog friendly, and easy communication from owner. Walkable to cool cemetery, Red Rocks open space, delicious bakery, and Pub Dog. Would highly recommend!

Exceeded expectations

Clise to old town. Great location. Off street parking was difficult. Kind of noisy.

The property was beautiful. I told my husband it would be the perfect retirement home. It was clean and nicely decorated. Had all the amenities we would need. Also, we stayed there on our 48th anniversary and Rachel, our host, gave us flowers and a vase. Even though it was the 4th of July, the neighborhood fire works ended at a reasonable time and it was very quiet. Easy access to Garden of the Gods and the highways we needed. I don't have any negative items.

The host was very responsive and super nice. She even provided my kids with special activities to do. They loved it! The home was very clean and tidy. She provided everything we needed just like home. We couldn't have been happier with our stay! I would definitely recommend anyone who wants to vacation in Colorado Springs to stay here!

Wonderful quiet cottage, reasonably priced, close to everything but with a feeling like being in the countryside. The owner was very attentive and helpful as needed. I will for sure book it again on my next Colorado Springs trip!

Both the property and neighborhood were so lively, and it’s just a couple minutes down from Old Colorado City. It’s in an amazing spot surrounded by plenty of things to do without having to travel too far. The owner and her husband were extremely kind to us and if we had any questions they were more than happy to help us. The house in itself was amazingly kept and they provided basic necessities and more for us, the beds couldn’t be more comfortable either.

Stand alone mother-in-law apartment on the alley side of the main house in a quiet neighborhood. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. Very responsive on-site hosts. I would definitely stay here again.

This house was absolutely perfect. It truly has everything you could need and is beautifully decorated, thoughtfully stocked, and incredibly comfortable. The beds were extremely comfy, and the entire space felt warm and welcoming, making it the perfect getaway for me and my daughter.The location couldn’t be better: close to shopping and great restaurants, and right near everything Colorado Springs has to offer. Our main purpose for the trip was visiting the Colorado Wolf & Wildlife Center for photos with the wolves, and this home was very easy to get to from there. Everything about this stay exceeded expectations. We wouldn’t change a thing and would happily stay here again!

As described in great location to Garden of the Gods and downtown. Located in Old Colorado spring, the center of town was about a mile away with a beautiful down town.

We had our dog and the place was great for us. It is a great location near Old Colorado City, Bear Creek park and Manitou. The host were great letting us have an early check in at the last minute.

The home was clean and the kitchen was stocked with spices teas and coffee. Beds were comfy and bathroom was stocked with toiletries and first aid needs. The welcome book was great with operations of household equipment. Also had recommendations of places to eat that you could walk to and different activities in the area.We had a great stay and fun adventures!

Needs a deep cleaning and comfortable living room furniture. Other than that it was good.

Excellent stay! So comfy and every amenity you can think of. Quiet location, ideal for access to Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. Lots of great restaurants nearby. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I normally stay a bit closer to the Air Force Academy and in newer developments, but this beautiful bungalow worked out just right. The exterior is a bit deceiving, but the inside is very well kept—nicely updated, very clean, and comfortable.Communication with the host was excellent, and the detailed binder of information about the home and local recommendations was super helpful. The location still offered convenient access to everything I needed. Overall, a great stay—I would definitely consider booking again!

Came in for the weekend for garden of the gods 10 mile. We had a long list of to dos and this allowed us to maximize our time as it was close to all the things we wanted. Garden of the Gods, Manitou incline, hiking and cute shops. This a cute place, beds where comfy. Never drove for more than 8 mins away lol there is binder with great recommendations of where to eat and what to do in case your just winging it. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in CO Spr for a week & this little hideaway was a great refuge after each of several very full days. I can't imagine going back to a hotel room after some of our days. It was so good to have our own mini house. We would always rather make a meal ourselves in a kitchen than eat out. This was a perfect spot to decompress!

Central location for Old CO City & walkable to Red rocks Park

The property was very clean and furnished. The themes of the rooms were awesome and it was overall a great stay! Super close to a lot of the typical attractions of Colorado Springs as well. The Hosts were very communicative and responsive. One of our best stays!

The propery is just right for us. Had all the necessaties and was very COZY. We used as a home base for activities with family in the area. But, for anyone visiting it is in prime location for all the common tourist sites and downtown. So MUCH around. Thank you Josh and Rachel for being great hosts!

We had a fantastic stay. Plenty of parking, fenced in yard for a dog, well stocked kitchen, plenty of hot water and super comfy beds. Located a short drive from everything we wanted to see and do in CS: Manitou Spri gd Garden of the Gods and Downtown. Great neighborhood for dog walking. Around the corner from a nice park.

We were comfortable. The house was clean and very convenient. The neighborhood is quiet. Its about a mile from Old Colorado City with shops and restaurants. About 10 minutes from Garden of the Gods and 10 minutes from Manitou Springs.

We were visiting our daughter close by and needed a place to stay while there. Rachel's space was super clean and provided for our needs. It was just my wife and I, and the space was more than spacious enough for the two of us. The king bed in the one room seemed a little firm at first, but wound up being super comfortable. The other room offered a smaller bed, but we did not use it. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking needs. We only made ourselves breakfast, but there were pots and pans and other needed things if looking to cook more. The location was close to our daughter so that was good. We arrived at night so parking down an alley was a little scary at first, but the neighborhood seemed safe and nice our next days there. There is a park close by and stores / restaurants are not very far off at all. If needing to stay in the area, I highly recommend Rachel's place.

Check in and out was a breeze. Perfect location and very cute/comfy. They had everything we could have asked for-coffee maker, coffee, spices, soap/shampoo/conditioner…I loved the decorative details! The instructions for arrival were easy to follow

This little house was perfect for our needs. Beds were comfy, full kitchen saves money, and it is conveniently located close to outdoor activities and downtown. The big plus for us was that the yard outside the door is fully fenced which made it especially nice for our dog. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. We will be staying here again when we need to visit Colorado Springs and we highly recommend.
