This place is great if you want to get away and appreciate a natural setting up on the mountain overlooking the valley. It is very peaceful and relaxing in the sunroom or on the hammock chairs out on the gazebo. The bedrooms are simple with queen size beds in each and one bathroom. The kitchen is large with a dining table and anything you need to cook. The living room is also big and open with a large TV. There was a little electric fireplace underneath it that didn’t seem to work, and there was no Wi-Fi, but that might both be temporary. It didn’t affect me because I just wanted to check out and be in a peaceful country setting. The roads are steep and gravel, but even a little Nissan Sentra did fine.

Was a beautiful property! Was quiet. Had a garage to park in, the listing said there was a keurig coffee pot so I brought my own pod but there was only a old coffee maker. Just an fyi. Was not a problem we just went into town for coffee

This home was even better than the pictures. Not a speck of dirt anywhere! So many special touches. It was so easy to maintain throughout our stay. We will rent this place again. It was just beautiful and the host responds so quickly.

We will definitely be returning to this little piece of paradise. I honestly don't believe I have stayed anywhere with such a beautiful setting. This is a well hidden gem. The cottage, the town of Paris, the views of the outlying areas, even a view of Subiaco Academy give this stay a very Hallmark like feeling. We fell in love with this area of the state and the architecture.

Property was even better than described! It was immaculate and comfortable. The setting was perfect looking down the mountain and seeing Paris. Enjoyed morning coffee in the patio room. The home has been beautifully updated on the inside. We will be back for sure!

First, we have stayed in a lot of VRBO's. I would rate this one in the top 5 of all. Clean, comfortable, and since we were in town for a wedding, convenient for us to the venue. Second, the view from this property is amazing. We couldn't decide if it was prettier in the daylight or at night! If you are looking for a place near the Mount Magazine or Paris area, don't pass on this one. Finally, Steven our host actually called me when we had a question and was very accommodating of our request. He checked on us when we arrived to make sure everything was in order. We loved our stay and will for sure stay again if ever we are in the area.

We chose this house for the proximity to Mt. Magazine State Park, and after our day hikes, we got to see every bit of fireworks that went off in the valley below. This house has an incredible view from its hilltop! We cooked all our meals during our stay, so it was really nice to have the grill outside. It was the perfect spot for our low-key 4th of July family get together with my husband's mom and dad. :)
