Two Adjacent Partial Ocean View Villas

The rental is two homes side by side, was in a prime location, but it needs some fixing up. Changes are needed to reflect the current advertised description and the current pictures of the listing. The real estate agent, who showed up unexpectedly, described it to potential buyers as “needing some TLC.”When we asked for help, the owners’ reaction left us bewildered, especially with the pots and nonstick pans being so badly scratched. We waited for a new coffeemaker to be replaced to accommodate twenty people. Since both dishwashers weren’t functioning, we opted to eat out rather than use the toxic cookware. The linens were over-worn and stained, plus limited used towels. Torn and stained upholstery is prevalent, and the outdoor patio is missing cushions or has broken chairs. Despite the host’s delayed replies and apparent unwillingness to acknowledge the problems, their responses became increasingly accusatory. All video and photo documentation was collected to facilitate the response. To match the existing listing’s description, these improvements are essential.

We really enjoyed our stay in Playa Langosta. The house had plenty of space for 13 of us, however some of the rooms have direct access to the outside which wasnt a good fit for kids or even teens. Aly was super helpful! She reccomended that we rent a golf

We had a great time. The concierge was amazing at getting us all set up with a private chef and bartender, surfing, Academy, and Trippe. The only problem was we could not get in, but that was partly our fault for not showing up when we were supposed to do to traffic, etc. We only had to wait about 20 minutes. The property was a little hard To find but very spacious and we had both units. The best part about it was waking up to a family of nine monkeys, including two babies in the tree right outside the master bedroom on the third floor. We’ve gone to Costa Rica for 31 years and this is the closest we’ve ever been to Haller monkeys. I will recommend, this for people and A, especially larger groups.

We rented both villas for a family vacation and had an amazing trip. The villas are in a nice quiet neighborhood with easy access to Tamarindo without having to deal with all the crowds. There were 13 of us and there was ample room for everyone (we could had a few more people and still not felt crowded).The concierge was really helpful - we used Aly to book airport transfers and tours as well a cook for 2 dinners. I definitely would recommend the cook, the airport transfers and the catamaran trip. The two other tours we booked were 2.5 hours away (coffee and waterfall tours) as they take place in the rainforest - not near the coast. We liked the tours, but we hit outrageous traffic on the way home once and it took almost 5 hours to get back to the villas.Everyone in our group raved about the how comfortable the beds are in both villas! There is a small market and a sports bar that are easy walking distance as well as the beach which is much quieter than Tamarindo and has amazing sunsets!Can't wait to go back!

Our expectations were exceeded! This is a massive, luxurious home in a quiet area of Tamarindo referred to as Playa Langosta. We rented both villas and we had more space than we knew what to do with. There are multiple master suites with views of the ocean. The beach is a 5 minute walk and it is an easy 15 minute walk, or a few minute drive to get into town. Aly, the concierge provided by the owners, made it easy to book rental cars, excursions, a private chef, and more. She also recommended we try the restaurant Bistro Langosta, which was hands down our favorite meal of the trip. Get there before 6 to take advantage of the great happy hour specials and plan to stay a few hours to try the amazing food and cocktail list. We did encounter a couple issues with the house during our stay, the largest was an A/C unit that wasn't working. The owners have a local care taker that responds instantly to texts and had the A/C unit replaced with a new one within a couple hours of me notifying him. We strongly recommend choosing this home for your Costa Rican beach vacation.

The house was very clean but had a lot of issues. Needs to update cookware and silverware and towels. There's links in the ceiling in both Villa. There was no AC in the master room the first night.

We were a party of 13 and needed to book a villa to stay at since our wedding was happening nearby. The two villas were amazing, not only based on their price but with the space and amenities. Aly was great in helping us book excursions, massages, rental cars etc. The pools are a dream on their own, the rooms were large and the bathrooms were even larger! It was also nice to be able to use the garage to park our golf cart, but I would recommend to use Uber, as it is cheaper than renting a golf cart. Having two kitchens was great for such a large party, and being able to move between the villas through the door in between the two pools was very convenient. This was a calming stay, away from the busy town center (that was still very close, about 5 min by golf cart), and we saw many monkeys in the trees, particularly in villa 2. Highly recommend walking to the nearest beach which is a 5 min walk and watching the sunsets there.

The Villas were perfect for such a large family vacation. With 17 of us there was lots of room and plenty of space to sit and have a quiet minute! The whole family enjoyed the pools, beach in the morning and pool in the afternoon! Aly, our concierge, was awesome at helping us plan tours and rent golf carts for getting around!

I had an Amazing stay at the Villas, any issues that i had which were minor the Leonards were very punctual with a response. It was a memorable moment for my birthday. Nothing but Great things. The only complaint that I have is concerning the Concierge (Aly)Alyssa Nitsche. Every year when I travel for my birthday someone bring in another friend to the group, unknown to the others. Well, when 3 women backed out of the Adventure Day because 1 was in a car wreck a few prior to the trip. When i told Aly she spoke to me as if I was a child, very condescending. Also threatened to take any extra monies off my card if the people don't do anything i requested prior to. So i called to have my card blocked from any further charges. I refused to argue with her because i had 4 more days of vacation and didn't want for her to make things worse for me. I had a cook a few days, everything was delicious. The pool guy was courteous and nice.
