Twin villas with private pools, furnished lanais, & all-new interiors

The property it' self was very nice, however; there were a lot of cockroaches and other crawling bugs in the unit along with visible roach baits. Additionally, the screened in pool was not screened in. There were huge tears at the top of both screens making the pool inhabitable due to falling leave and debris. To make things worse, we were never told that late checkout may be available, so as a result we paid an additional $531.61 to allow us enough time to enjoy ourselves and not have to rush loading our motorcycles back into the trailers. We were notified shortly after that, that late checkout was available. I made contact with Vacasa representatives to at least receive some type resolutions, but no one has responded to our complaints. A complaint was made but I have not received any response. My next order of business if a response is not received shortly is to escalate my complaints expressing the unprofessionalism, this owner and company represents. We should have been treated better for the money we spent. We paid $531.61 just to stay an additional four hours or so. Totally ridiculous when a late checkout option should have been provided at the very beginning. Please help.

We rented both units A/B. We found the units to be nicely furnished and clean. The kitchens provided the necessities needed to cook and eat, we only needed a couple disposable casserole pans while staying here. Unit A did not have a vacuum cleaner, however with us renting both sides we were able to utilize the one for both sides. I do think both sides should have a vacuum due to the chances of only renting one side. The units did not provide a binder of essential information for the stay. Such info as trash pick up day and time, who would take trash out, if a pool person would be by to service the pool during the stay( we did not ever see a pool person). This information would be very nice to have on hand. The pool on side B was very cold, however we were able to just use the pool on side A. The remotes on side A in the front bedroom controlled that room and would also turn on the lights and fan in the king room. This was figured out after a few nights of lights and fans coming on and off spontaneously. The remote in the king on side A also turned off and on the lights and fan in the king on Side B. Again we figured this out several days in as we rented both sides. This needs fixed. Overall this rental is a great fit for families. It is located a short drive from local beaches and provides a great family place to unwind and enjoy vacation.
