Twin Tides #14-AC: Semi-Oceanfront, Dog-Friendly, Shared Pool, Hot Tub

Lovely cottage not far from the beach. Great central living area for the family to gather. Well stocked kitchen. Screened in porch is great for staying shaded and away from the bugs. The walk to the ocean is not far, but the very tall and steep sand dune is challenging for older and not as physically capable people. Food Lion is right down the road and there are a good number of nearby restaurants. I would stay here again if looking in the Avon area.

Very nice home. Quiet, nice hot tub. Big enough for my family of 8. The path to the beach is an uphill hike there and back. Would definitely update with dark curtains to keep the cool air in. Overall great home.

Very quiet and convenient location. Great house layout and very comfortable for our group of 7. Not far from the beach and has has a foot wash and shower to keep the sand from making it up to the living area. Nice screened in porch to enjoy time outside big free. Overall a wonderful rental home.

The homey feel of this area with all the luxury of vacation. It was perfect. Walk to the beach or take a short drive to the pool. Grocery store is 2 min from the house as well as shopping. Traffic was not overwhelming and no matter which way you drove there were always new sights to see. It was relaxing and perfect.

I would give this house 4.5 stars but since I can't I'm rounding up. My only real complaint is white sheer curtains and cheap blinds on east facing bedroom windows. Would recommend room darkening curtains as not to wake up at 5 am with the sun. House was very clean. Layout is perfect with big, open area and dining table. Kids enjoyed the hot tub and beach is very close. We had a great week!

Twin Tides was perfect for my husband and I and our two dogs for a relaxing October getaway. The home has a great screen in porch and a gate at the top of the deck which shows the dogs to come outside but remain safe and contained. They enjoyed their time on the top deck relaxing in the sun as much as we did. Location is great, close to the grocery store, the beach is a short walk over the dune and Buxton is very close with some great restaurants. Needs were all very firm but comfortable. TV took a bit to figure out to get apps to work and log in to, but it worked well in the end. We actually had to use the heat (a first for us at the beach) and it was a very cozy house when we had to stay in to play some games and watch a movie. We loved it- it was perfect for our first trip to OBX in the fall!!! Fishing was great for my hubbie too!

Beach access was great and is very close to off road access to the beach as well. Good size for 6 people.

I had some concerns about safety for a toddler and they sent Jeff over to take care of my concerns. Not only did they do this in a timely manner, he was very friendly and professional. Thank You
