We respect our guests' privacy and aim to provide a seamless, independent stay. We will not be present on the property during your visit but are readily available via the messaging app should you need any assistance or local recommendations. We will provide you with a printed house manual and digital guidebook to help answer any questions that may come up. Our team is available 8am - 9pm PT.

Set in a peaceful residential neighborhood steps away from the Sawtooth Trailhead and a short drive to downtown Truckee.

Guests will have private access to the entire home and its amenities, including the two-car garage, driveway, fenced-in yard, and hot tub. A few owner's closets will be locked and are not accessible to guests.

Our group of 10, consisting of two families of five, had an incredible stay at this home. It was remarkably spacious with multiple living areas, which gave us plenty of room to spread out, watch movies, and catch the Olympics together. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots, plates, and utensils we needed for big family meals, and the beds were perfect and very comfortable for everyone.
The outdoor space was a huge highlight—the backyard was great for playing in the snow and the kids absolutely loved the hot tub. The fireplace made the whole house feel so cozy after a day out. The location is also unbeatable, as it’s very close to downtown Truckee and just a 20-minute drive to Palisades Tahoe. Each of the four grand bedrooms features its own private ensuite bathroom, ensuring comfort and privacy for your group:
- Main Level: One bedroom with a queen bed and a dedicated workspace.
- Main Level: A second bedroom with a king bed and its own gas fireplace for added ambiance.
- Second Level: One bedroom with a king bed.
- Second Level: A fourth bedroom perfect for kids, featuring two full beds, a sofa, and a TV for movie nights.

Step outside into your private mountain oasis. Unwind in the bubbling hot tub, surrounded by majestic Jeffrey Pines, or enjoy the safety of the fenced-in yard. The home's expansive corner lot is ideal for yard games in the summer or snow play during the winter months.

We have a large driveway that can accommodate 4 cars and a spacious two car garage.

To ensure a transparent and wonderful stay, please review these important details:
- Hot Tub Cleanings: We schedule hot tub cleanings ahead of all guest arrivals. In the event the hot tub is serviced on they day of your arrival, the spa may still be heating up do to a recent cleaning. If you notice the spa is not hot when you get to the house, please notify us so we can check with the company to confirm this is expected.
- No Air Conditioning: Like most homes in Lake Tahoe, our cabin does not have air conditioning.
- Mountain Life: Dust and pollen can accumulate quickly on outdoor furniture. Outdoor furniture may be stored and unavailable during winter (typically October- May). The outdoor fire pit and BBQ are not available to guests year round. If used guests could be subject to a $500 fine.
- Weather & Travel: A 4WD/AWD vehicle, chains, or snow tires may be required in winter.
- Uncontrollable Events: We are not responsible for uncontrollable circumstances such as poor air quality during wildfire season or snow during winter. We strongly recommend purchasing external trip insurance, as our cancellation policy will be upheld.
- Safety: The home is equipped with smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, and a first aid kit for your safety.
- Please refer to the Rental Agreement for a full list of the local STR Rules.
- Emergency Power Outage Kit: Situated in the closet next to the stairs across from the desk, this kit includes batteries and lanterns to ensure you're ready for power outages.
