My Family and my in-laws spent about a week at this house. First, let me share the positives. This house is amazing. The pictures actually don’t do it justice. I have done extensive hiking in North Carolina and this is probably the most beautiful waterfall I’ve ever seen and it’s completely private. The house is absolutely beautiful, completely modern and every single room looks at the waterfall. It doesn’t matter whether you’re bathing, eating in the kitchen or your bedroom, every room was designed to see the waterfall. You can tell amazing design and passion went into designing the house in the property around the waterfall. The house has a movie theater which is great and the owner is available if there’s issues and is very helpful. I couldn’t ask for anything more in a rental house. This is probably the nicest place I will ever rent and I did not expect that because I expected the picture is not to be representative of the property or there to be issues. Every one of our guests absolutely loved it. After my in-laws left we were supposed to do the part in my wife and I extended it another three days because we just didn’t want to leave. This place is a hidden gem. Here are the downsides, which I feel are important to know when you’re renting this house. Landmark told me that the house had Internet and that you could do zoom calls but it’s intermittant and there was cellular. None of us had cellular at the house. It is a dead zone. Maybe 5 to 10 minutes down the road you can get cellular. The house says it has Internet but it really doesn’t . It goes in and out and it’s not stable enough to really surf the web. You can download and send emails but it takes time and that’s when the Internet is working. For me it’s better to go to this place if you know you have to disconnect and then don’t have to stress about not being connected. The house is on a dirt road it is not paved. We had a 4 x 4 with us and our in-laws had a Tesla. The road was in great condition when we arrived but one of the homes on the road was doing work and they were a lot of dump trucks and the road deteriorated over the week that we were there. You can bring a normal car, but it will just not be comfortable or easy getting in or out. I would definitely recommend having an SUV, but it’s not required. This place is about 25 minutes from cashiers, 10 minutes dirt road, rest on a paved road. Don’t let landmark force you to pickup keys at their office!
We stayed for a week in this beautiful home. The view of the waterfall and the sound of falling water make for a serene setting. The movie theater is fantastic. You can wade in the pools below the waterfall, and there are wild blackberries around the house. It takes 20 minutes to cashiers; so though it seems remote, it’s actually easy. Highly recommend staying here.
Beautiful waterfalls!! Amazing home theatre system. Beautiful home.
Twins Falls is an unique and impressive property with character and an air of poshness that the per night price dictates. Every detail within the home is of the highest quality. The waterfalls in view from almost every room was such a treat to enjoy.
Very beautiful place. The view is one of a kind. We also enjoyed the movie theater.
