TURTLEBACK OASIS! Mins to Lake, Hot Springs & Golf

Property was a 10 min walk to the golf course with a nice view from the backyard. It is very quiet and the shutters allowed for a dark room for sleeping. Best sleep I’ve had at a property in a long time! Nice soaking bathtub.

We had the most wonderful, relaxing stay here! The house was beautiful and well-stocked. The pictures do not do the views justice, the back deck has the most gorgeous view and we spent hours back there. The host was super responsive and quickly responded to our questions. We would absolutely stay here again, it was heaven!

Very disappointed in the over all cleanliness of the home. Cobwebs and dust everywhere. The glasses and bowls were chipped and worn. The hot tub was the selling point for us and the outdoor area. Unfortunately, the hot tub was out of order, The gas grill was broken. There was not any outdoor seating for lounge or around the fire pit. The pictures are not a good reflection of what you actually get at this property. Most seating is not there. Also, it says it will sleep 10, there’s no way. There were 5 of us and I’m so thankful others had to cancel because we would not have all fit. Not enough beds. This property sleeps 6 tops. I contacted the owner and still have not received a response three days later. While the over all neighborhood was lovely and beautiful views. This house needs some care. I will definitely not be back.

The house was lovely! The location was absolutely perfect! Beds were comfortable and it was very clean. The separate ice maker was AWESOME. For some reason, the hot water heater quit working the 2nd day...AFTER we came home from a LONG day at a golf tournament. When I finally figured out that I had a cell phone number to call, help was on the way! 2 of us took cold showers while waiting for the repairman to arrive. The repairman said he fixed the breaker that had tripped, and we were good to go...only to find out in the morning that we still had no hot water. Hopefully, it's an easy fix because we plan on booking the house next year as well. It's a GREAT rental!

The space was beautiful and comfortable. The views were spectacular. Unfortunately there was no toilet paper in 2 of the 3 bathrooms and the one that had toilet paper in it, there was only a 1/4 roll left. The hand soap dispensers were mostly empty. The hot tub was not in working order and the big swing shown out on the patio was not available either. We loved the house, location and view. But, the lack of some basic amenities was quite disappointing. Brandon was available and communicated but with no results. I had requested someone come look at the hot tub and to bring us toilet paper. We purchased our own TP and went to a local hot spring for a soak. I would stay here again, but would want the owner/operator to ensure the house was thoroughly ready for guests and all advertised amenities would be in working order. We truly enjoyed our stay, other then the issues stated.

The hot tub water was green so we weren’t able to use it. The BBQ grill didn’t work. The garbage disposal didn’t work and water kept backing up whenever we ran water in the sink. The sheet pan in the cabinet was old and rusty so we couldn’t use it. The shower in the master bathroom had super low water pressure. After a couple weeks after our stay and checking my account daily, I asked the host when I could expect the 1500 damage deposit back (twice) and never got a response. I finally filed a complaint/dispute with my credit card company and two days later the deposit was refunded. If all the problems listed were repaired, we would love to stay there again, and had planned on going back later this month.

The house needs attention. The Host was respoive and polite.

Brandon is a great host. The house was clean and the views were magnificent. We appreciate the hospitality and look forward to coming back.

Is it very nice house there are a few little things that need to be fixed around the house but overall a very wonderful place to stay have stayed multiple times the first time the hot tub was not working but they did have it fixed a couple weeks later when I stayed the second time. When the grill had no propane messaged host and got propane the next day. Would stay here again

Stayed for three nights in mid December. House was great. The weather was good. I wish we had more time to stay!

This was our second time staying at the house in Elephant Butte. The house is clean, inviting and located in a nice golf course community. The back porch has a beautiful view of the mountains. We will be back!
