Stayed Mar 23, 2026This is a great property at a great location. Just realize it is upstairs, so there are lots of steps, including a step up into each bathroom. Overall, this is a beautiful place to stay and was quite comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring the shopping areas and other locations. Our only confusion is with administration. We received emails from 3 different entities: VRBO, Vtrips, and Kokopelli. Sometimes this info was different for entry codes, etc. Also, the pricing is confusing because we had an amount from one entity, but a different amount from VRBO. I've never had this confusion before with a VRBO property.

Stayed Mar 5, 2026Super cool authentic Santa Fe home. The place is within walking distance of everything in the historic part of Santa Fe. Came for a ski trip with the kids. Plenty of room for the family and 35 minute drive to the slopes. We walked to dinner and shopping. Probably a 2 minute walk to the plaza. Strange layout for the home fits with an authentic adobe home. Might not be comfortable for groups that need privacy as you have to pass through bedroom to access kitchen and the other two bedrooms are connected. Parking is around the corner but only a 1 minute walk. You can load unload right in front of the home. A beautiful home in a beautiful part of Santa Fe. We loved it and will stay there again

Stayed Feb 23, 2026The location of this place can't be beat - it's right next to the old town Plaza. It's a cool vibe too, with a very southwestern feel to it.One word of warning - the bedrooms are separated by saloon style doors, not full doors and walls. You need to walk through one bedroom to get from the living room to the kitchen; and for the other two bedrooms one needs to walk through the other for the bathroom. This was fine for us, we just needed a place to crash and this house was perfect. But if bedroom privacy is important to you, this may not be your best choice.

Stayed Nov 24, 2025Smoke alarm battery died at 2 am, and was mounted too high on the wall to reach from on top of a chair. House was filled with high pitch shrill beeping. Call to host service was met with “you need to figure this out on your own”, and I didn’t get a call back over the next 2 days.

Stayed Oct 20, 2025The location was perfect. The property was furnished in native motif and we enjoyed visiting in the main room. As there were three girlfriends staying at the place it wasn’t a concern that you have to go through each bedroom to get to the bathrooms and kitchen. It might be a concern for couples or those seeking more privacy. Although there is a coffee maker & Keurig there wasn’t any coffee or pod’s provided. We would have appreciated a box of Kleenex, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. It would have been helpful to know what we needed prior to arriving as there is no grocery store nearby. Lastly, you do need to be aware that you will need to carry your luggage up an outdoor staircase. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place with the above suggestions noted.

Stayed Sep 29, 2025We loved the location! Took the train to Santa Fe and wanted to walk the historic district, which we were able to do. The house itself was very comfortable and had some unique and beautiful southwest style furnishings. Spent a lot of time on the front porch when not out and about.Management was very responsive to our couple of requests.

Stayed Aug 4, 2025The location is wonderful, however, you had to go through a bedroom to get to the kitchen, which was not ideal. Additionally, you had to go through a bedroom to get to the shared bathroom, which again was not ideal as two of the bedrooms had very little privacy if you have more than two guests. The unit was quite dark and not cheerful.

Stayed Jul 3, 2025What an awesome place, blocks away from the plaza, we had an awesome vacation. We loved being able to stroll to all the bars/restaurants, museums, and even the capital building, and a great walking trail right across the street. The house itself was fascinating - antique carved doors and interiors that give it so much character, and was equipped with all amenities and plenty of electrical outlets, very comfortable. Parking at the nearby inn was a huge convenience and easily accessible on foot. We also felt very safe walking around, even at night.Just a heads-up for future guests: it easily sleeps 6 people but the layout requires walking through a bedroom to access the kitchen on one side and the bathroom on the other. So, make sure you're comfortable sharing space with your group!

Stayed Jun 2, 2025We enjoyed a family vacation with my grown up children and had an amazing time. The property is great and enough room for all 5 of us. We even were able to bring our furry family friends with us and not leave them behind. There is so much to do and so many boats to watch come in and out of the Marina. We will definitely come back to this property for another stay! The hosts were always quick to respond and had a beautiful cottage right on the water.

Stayed May 23, 2025We celebrated my mom's 70th birthday at the Turquoise Butterfly and it was the absolute perfect place! The location was walking distance to everything. Restaurants, shops and anything else we wanted to do. The home is so well decorated and the beds are very comfortable. We spent most of the time in the living area just chatting or on the porch enjoying the perfect weather. This space is great for families or groups of close adults... the bedrooms all connect and you have to pass through one to get to the kitchen. Wasn't an issue for us and the uniqueness of the property makes it make sense. I would love to know what other uses the building had before it became a rental! Overall it was a wonderful time and we would definitely return to this home.

Stayed May 18, 2025While the layout is quirky, and I wouldn't recommend it for a group that doesn't know each other very well, it was great for our little family getaway. Comfortable beds with nice bedding, good climate control, and very atmospheric decor had us really enjoying our time hanging out there. The location made it perfect for solo and group outings to the downtown area. Communication with the management team was responsive and helpful.

Stayed Apr 28, 2025My husband and I were visiting Santa Fe with our 88 year old neighbor and her “special needs” daughter. This trip was to celebrate the daughter’s 61st birthday. They had never been to Santa Fe and the stay didn't disappoint any of us! The location was perfect and having three bedrooms accommodated all of us beautifully! The only drawback was the steep stairs into the unit. However, we were all very careful and they took their time traversing the stairs. All in all it was a perfect birthday trip for us all! The ambiance of the unit was wonderful!!!!

Stayed Apr 17, 2025I stayed at this place with two friends. The three bedrooms and two baths were comfortable and super clean. The kitchen was through one of the bedrooms but it didn’t bother us. Being so close to the square was wonderful . My only suggestion is to stock the kitchen with either storage containers or foil and Saran Wrap. No way for us to store the food we brought.

Stayed Mar 15, 2025Our family of 6 fit beautifully in this cozy, eclectic artists' haven! We loved the artistic details throughout the home, and the old wooden doors were truly beautiful. We felt cozy and tucked away in the heart of old Santa Fe! The location was one of our favorite parts of this home! It was just off of the plaza, and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We loved our stay and will definitely be back! Communication was awesome, and we had everything we needed in this beautiful home! The only thing to note (if traveling with family or kids) is planning your arrival so that someone can drop you off in front of the home during non-peek hours. This will allow you to move your bags easily from the car to the home. (There are parking spots in front of the home, but during busy hours they are usually taken.) Once unloaded, you can park in the parking lot of the Sendero Motel, which is truly just around the corner!

Stayed Nov 1, 2024This is a perfect location for a downtown Santa Fe visit. Walk almost everywhere. Very cute house! However, it is very quirky and you have to go through bedrooms to get to the kitchen and through a second bedroom to get to the bathroom. Stayed Sep 19, 2024Two older women, we had our nephew come and help us get our things in and out. With the parking down the street, I was very disappointed. Have stayed in Santa Fe hotels where the parking is easy. This place is great for people who don’t have a problem carrying things etc. plus with all the extra costs, it’s $800 a night, which is too expensive

Stayed Aug 12, 2024The location was awesome. We were right on the edge of Indian Market. The furniture/beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. There is one parking sticker included for a nearby parking lot and more can be purchased for additional cars. There is a loading zone near the unit. The downside of the property is the bed/bath situation requires you to walk thru a bed area to get to the bathroom or kitchen, so if multiple couples are staying together they have to be flexible and used to camping/RVing type situations. We enjoyed ourselves and would return to this unit again if it was available.
