Tucked Away Timber Upper Suite

Gorgeous cabin with a convenient location!

If you come in the summer, there's a great back porch with a lawn. There was plenty of room for our family and lots of extras I didn't expect (like microwave popcorn, snacks, condiments, etc.). I highly recommend this place. We were in town for my grandson's baptism and it was great to be comfortable while in Alaska.

Believe the photos! The house truly is this beautiful! There were four in our party; the living area was plenty big enough and very comfortable for us to relax and watch a movie after being out all day. The kitchen was also big enough for us to move around without getting in each other’s way to make something to eat, make coffee, fix a snack, etc.The bedrooms were big, too. Big closets, extra blankets and pillows, and TVs in each room. All bedrooms had queen beds and you could move around the beds with room to spare – none of them were placed against a wall, which is something my husband and I cannot stand. The area is quiet, even though the home is, at the most, two miles from the airport. You do hear planes, but mostly it was the smaller bush planes during the day. I did hear commercial planes take off, but if I heard a half dozen the entire time we were there, that’s a lot, & they weren't loud. As spread out as Fairbanks is, we were surprised how close the home was to all amenitiesWe were very appreciative for the laundry facilities; Tera supplies detergent and dryer sheets, which we were thankful for! Tera is a wonderful host. She answered our many questions and provided in-depth info on various restaurants and unique shops to check out. She also gave us the scoop on where to see moose in the wild, and she was spot on! Thank you for everything, Tera! We truly appreciate all the thought you put into this home to ensure the comfort of your guests!

Clean, comfortable, very well appointed - great place.

This place was perfect for our family of five! We came up for the State Cup Soccer Tournament, and it is always a busy and stressful few days. Thankfully, we had this place to come back to each day that had everything we needed plus more to keep us rested. As a bonus, the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and then some, so we didn't need to get much from the grocery store. We appreciated the convenience of the location, the comfort, and the overall ambiance of this home away from home. We definitely plan to book again when in Fairbanks.

Excellent property as advertised

Well, we had planned to have a day and a half of seeing Fairbanks, but due to one issue after another with our flights, our trip here was reduced to just sleeping here for about 4 hours. The cabin is in an amazing location for being near the airport. In fact, we missed being able to pick our rental at the airport due to the flight delays, so we walked back to the airport the next morning to pick the car up. It was very clean, and they left some life-saving snacks for us after we had been traveling for 27 hours to get there! Would absolutely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. We were out most of the time because we have family in Fairbanks. But the beds and family rooms were all comfortable. For us it was pretty centrally located. We would reserve again. And we enjoyed the porch and midnight sun.

This home is impeccably designed and decorated and had many touches that provided amazing hospitality during our one night stay at the end of our Alaskan family vacation. It was close to many attractions we visited. The check in was easy and the owners provided a great e-brochure prior to our arrival with info about the area and suggested places and restaurants to visit.

Our stay was fantastic. It was warm, inviting, and clean. It was the perfect retreat. Everything was comfortable and charming.

This was a cute and spacious cabin with the most comfortable beds. Super close to the airport. They have all the items you could need to make your stay comfortable. The only thing we were missing was the air conditioner because it was a hot day in Fairbanks. The host was great and quick to respond.

We really loved the vibe of this tucked away log home. We fully enjoyed and loved the artwork and other decor. I can say enough about how clean and relaxed this house was. Way to go to the owners in doing such a great job!!!

Great place loved the wood cabin feel. Saw the Northern Lights from the back yard. Hosts were quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed. Even had some gifts left for us when we arrived. Took a trip up to the arctic circle and this was a good base camp for our start. Perfect place for New Years. Very satisified with our stay

Excellent winter cabin to lounge away a week in. We came to see the Aurora, do tourist things, cook together and play board games. The cabin was great! Quiet location. Very good lighting. Perfect host services. Zero issues.

Property was very clean and accommodating. Close to everything you would want to do.

We were somewhat worried that being so close to the airport, this house would be noisy but it wasn't at all. The beds were very comfortable, the house was very clean. We appreciated the use of the washer and dryer. The host was very easy to communicate with and very helpful.

We appreciate the communication and accuracy of the listing. The amenities ans location of the Upper Timber is great. Our extended stay after our cruise at this fabulous spot was a perfect end to our trip. There were 6 of us ages 1 to 50. Tera and Bobby communicated very well. Very nice house. Pictures and descriptions are exactly what you get. Just what we needed for our short stay in Fairbanks. Tera was a great host. She was very responsive and looked after all the details that make it a nice stay. Would definitely come back.

We were very happy with our stay! The house is near many things such as stores and food and right by the airport. The house is kept very clean with a great feel and great scenery right out back! The owners were very kind and communicated well! Very pleased with the experience!
