True tranquility at Lake Anna

The property was beautiful! Lots of space for our large group! Tom was super communicative and available. We had a great time!

True Tranquility is an enormous home that is not done justice with the listing pictures. Book it; you won't be disappointed.

The house was perfect for our large family. The kitchen is huge and accommodated our cooks just right. The rooms were very roomy and comfortable. We did have a little problem finding the towels and wash clothes as they were all in one closet. We are looking forward to visiting again next year for a family gathering.Our host Tom was great! No waiting for response and always very helpful and friendly!

Tom was very friendly and available when needed. He was clear about expectations and helpful. The property is beautiful and spacious. It comfortably fit 12 adults.

Very nice house with a dock that the children enjoyed jumping off . The host was very responsive and made the check in & check out very easy. The house is nicer than the pictures !!!

The deck is in major need of repair. The rails are zip tied together all the way around the bottom rails. The bathroom were in need of a good cleaning, toilets were not cleaned. The bath mats were dirty as well. We had snacks and cupcakes on the counter and within hours the ants were in the cupcakes and the open snacks. When I told the owner he said sorry but there is any spray in the garage! There were not enough towels for a house that big basically 1 per person.

Great house! Description and pictures are misleading though as we were under the impression the house was right in the lake. The house had great space but is in need of a deep cleaning inside and especially outside. Deck off kitchen felt very unstable. Dock space fun but again needs a power wash! Would stay again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Communication with the owners was seamless — they were incredibly responsive and made sure we had all the information we needed for a stress-free, enjoyable visit.The house itself was perfect for our group of eight adults and one very happy 7-year-old. It was spacious, well-equipped, and had everything we needed to relax and feel right at home.Our son especially loved spending his days down at the dock, fishing and soaking up the sun — it was truly his favorite part of the trip!Although the weather was quite hot during our stay, which meant we didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit or the cowboy cauldron, we’re already looking forward to coming back and making the most of those features next time.We've already booked our return trip for next year and hope this becomes an annual tradition for many years to come!

A tradition for an “Old Guys” trip to the lake that was made even more special with this property. The space, amenities, and especially the dock all made this year’s trip one to remember. Thank you for sharing your special place with us.

It was a very nice place, few things, still show hot tube but hasn't worked in years. It is on septic and well so had to worry about water. But overall is was a great stay.

This is the third time that we have stayed at True Tranquility to celebrate the holidays. Once again, the house was perfect for our family gathering. Thank you Tom for your hospitality!

We stayed from Wednesday- Sunday. The property was clean, the dock was great. It was in close pricing too a marina and boat ramp. The exterior of the home needs some minor repair, but nothing that would impact your stay. It is a bit of a walk to the lake, and the lake itself was very low while we were there, but that was expected after the dry summer!

House was beautiful lots of room for everybody- the kids had plenty of room to run and play. The dock is a decent walk from the house through the woods on a little path and you can’t see the lake from the porch- I feel this wasn’t obvious from the pictures or description. The grill was dirty- I wouldn’t even cook on it without foil down. The porch and the dock need a good power wash for the summer. Lots of cob webs on the chairs and spiders like crazy on the dock. The host was fabulous very attentive and detailed. Great place to stay and would stay again. Gorgeous home and plenty of room for large groups!

The house was fantastic and the interaction with Tom, our host, was excellent. This was our first time at Lake Anna and everyone enjoyed it immensely. We would recommend True Tranquility to any group that wants a fun yet peaceful vacation.
