Tropical-themed getaway w/ heated private pool - walk to free trolley, shopping

Loved, loved, loved the outside pool area!! The house was just ok. We had ants and the rental company took two days to send out someone. And it only got rid of the ants for one day. Definitely not a house we will stay in again. And will not book with Vacasa again.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Quiet neighborhood with little traffic so made walks to and from beach easy. Home is very nice with all basics covered. Would certainly stay again!

Very happy that there were beach chairs and umbrella available when we arrived with traveling out of state that was very nice to have available.

The backyard is a perfect oasis

Nice pool and close to beach, restaurants and pickle ball courts. The only thing is the beds were lumpy and squeaky.Overall we would stay again.

I had an issue come up that required communication with Vacasa, the company that manages the property. It was late when I called initially, was promised that my issue was top priority and that I would get a call back. Guess what. Nobca back. I had to call in again to get an answer to my question. Next morning, still no callback but mid day I got a brief, terse text stating that my request for compensation was denied. Funny, I never asked for monetary compensation. I wanted to speak to someone to find out why, if my request was top priority, I had to call back in to get my answer. Just goes to show that they don’t listen, didn’t care. Property was beautiful, as advertised but beware should something come up that requires property management to be involved.

Location was great but furniture was uncomfortable and dirty. Couch pillows needed to be cleaned and couch growled every time you sat on it. Master shower drain was clogged. Master bed mattress was lumpy. Back yard was private and pretty. The pool heater wasn't working too well so we didn't use the pool. No oven mitts. Need a front door fixture instead of just a bulb.

We go to AMI yearly and have always rented a house/pool combo in this general area. This house was….fine. The backyard and pool were probably the best we’ve ever had and with our kids ages 6 and 9, the layout of the house was great. That being said, upon arrival the pool had several HUGE blobs of previous guests hair. We called the rental company and they asked us to send pictures before they’d send someone out “sometime during our stay”. It was so gross and that’s a terrible response. We scooped them out ourselves. There’s definitely moisture/mold around most of the AC vents which wasn’t a massive deal but it was kind of bothersome and they were overall so dirty looking. The primary shower takes a good three minutes to drain once you start your shower which wasn’t a dealbreaker but needs maintenance. There is an empty lot next door that looks like it’s about to be developed. Didn’t bother us at all but if you’re there when work is being done, I’d be super annoyed so double check that. The walk to the beach was about 10 minutes, we’ve stayed in two other houses (that we’d rent again) within a couple blocks and they were a much shorter walk because we didn’t have to zig zag quite as much to get to beach access point. Overall enjoyed our stay but we’ve paid similar or less for other houses in the same area that we’d choose over this one in the future.

We spent a lot of time on the patio and in the pool. The tiki hut saw a lot of us every morning for coffee and late afternoon for drinks. The house was very well maintained and clean. Possibly could use more towel racks in each bath and possibly over the bedroom doors. All else was wonderful!

This stay was the worst experience in renting a property due to cleanliness and communication. House was not ready at time of check in, and had mold in numerous areas. Property management would not communicate with us to resolve our issues. Had to leave home 2 days into our week stay. Do not recommend
