Tropical Modernist Retreat is set up as a contemporary beach abode

Lei Lanis is a magnificent and comfortable place to stay. We enjoyed walking to the nearby beach, fishing the pristine waters, and exploring the nearby tracks and trails.

Interesting architecture, great alfresco area and garden.Only downside no WIFI

Lovely tropical home. Everything you need

Lovely property for our stay in Mission Beach for the Amazons Adventure race. We liked the privacy of the two seperate bedrooms out the back and having a bit more yard space was perfect for us to organise our gear. Todd was easy to communicate with and resolved our issue very quickly (including locking ourselves out of one of the rooms )

Personally we would not return to this property. We did not find it suitable for older people (all of us over 60)The walkway to the bedroom could do you a lot of damage if you lost your footing in the dark, and the lighting was terrible old yellow light bulkhead type (pointless being on)On-suit bathrooms had no doors, so lying on the bed gave you a great view of your partner on the toilet or in the shower. No sockets in on-suits, so nowhere to plug in toothbrushes ,razors etc.BR 1 aircon failed on the Saturday night giving us 2 unbearably hot,sticky and sleepless nights. We had to buy a can of cockroach surface spray on day one to eliminate the 9 that occupied the first bedroom. This should be done before guests arrive. Basin would not hold water(with plug in) for wet shave.Big star light on veranda seemed to be shorting out, I went in the dark to switch off the outside socket that it was connected to and nearly had a fall due to the two steps only located on the far side of the balcony from the back laundry door, again unsafe area very poorly lit.Kitchen sink around the back of the kitchen, in a separate area,seemed a very odd idea?I could go on but needless to say I was glad when our 3 night stay was over!

Property was extremely well equipped with appliances and essentials. Could not fault it in any way.

Loved our stay at Leilani’s. The house is a great space for 2 couples holidaying together. Private bedroom spaces and lovely outdoor indoor living spaces. Loved the jungle walk to the beach and village as well as the walk to the beautiful aquatic centre for our swims. Shower could do with some shelf spaces for holding shampoos etc Also dishwasher seemed to have a leak. But otherwise no complaints regarding this delightful home. Mission beach truly is tropical paradise!
