Treetop Private Suite

Beautiful property and comfortable stay for a couple. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool and hot tub as much as we would have liked as we had a busy schedule. The location was perfect for our wine tastings, Sensorio, downtown restaurants and short trip to Cambria and San Simeon for a visit to Hearst Castle and to see the elephant seals.

Dian is a wonderfully responsive host. Cottage was charming on a beautiful estate. Look forward to visiting the area again.

The cottage was cozy, quaint and quiet, but once in the complex the access road and parking area around it was only dirt. Fortunately, when we went, it wasn't wet or raining, but if it was it would have been a mess.

Great place, really enjoyed

The cottage was very cute and the location was nice. I liked having a kitchen to prepare meals. It was also very quiet. The only drawbacks were the couch in the sitting area was so lumpy it was uncomfortable to sit on to watch TV. Also, there was only 1 bath towel in the bathroom so I had to use small hand towels when I got out of the shower.

Great location, the pool and indoor jacuzzi was very nice. The bed in our cottage was very comfortable however the futon sofa bed was horrible. Even as a couch you sink into like there is hole. I cant believe they advertised sleeps three, the couch should be trashed. Items were left in the medicine cabinet in bathroom from other guest. This is unsanitary in my opinion. The kitchen only gave us 3 forks i guess bc it sleeps 3!?? Also check out procedures you are asked to dump your own trash and wash your dishes. I dont find this very sanitary. I would not want to depend on the last guest washing the dishes and putting them back on the shelf. It would have been nice if they at least provided decent trash bags and not cheap thin ones that broke. The stairs are steep, guest should not be asked to carry large trash bags down the stairs. The exterior of the cottages and other buildings are a bit run down, need paint etc.. but i see contractors working on different areas so i assume its a work in progress.

A private peaceful environment. We loved our stay in the Treetop Cottage.

Owners were extremely accommodating and helpful. Location is beautiful as are the grounds. The apartment was a good size but not clean. Living room sofa not comfortable. Deck would have been great in better weather.

This is our favorite place to stay in Paso! Gorgeous and convenient. Only 5 miles to Vina Robles (we attended a concert) and easy drive to grocery store, restaurants and wineries. Owners are super kind. ❤️

This place is outstanding! I plan to return next year and plan a surprise trip with my husband!

Enjoyed the location and quite.

I’m a local who needed a writer’s retreat. The Tree Top room had great views and various spots I could sit and write. The deck lands in a Texas Umbrella tree that still had flowers and offered a perch to several bird. The place feels remote, but is still very close to town. The room was adorable, met all of my needs, and was super clean. Most important for me is a comfy bed - I slept like a log. Dian has put her heart and creative spirit in to create a beautiful piece of property. The pool, hot tub, creek, and plant life made me feel like I was staying at a resort I had all to myself. I assume most people just come for the room, but if you are looking for a retreat, especially if you are into yoga, be sure to check out Dian’s retreat options as add-ons at serenityretreatcenter.com. She is intuitive and calming, wise and grounded. I plan to come back at least once a year to soak up all the goodness she provides. Thank you, Dian (and Jay)!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Dian was super easy to communicate with, and the little apartment we stayed in, called Tree Top, was adorable, clean, and just right. The bed was uber-comfy, and being able to hear frogs at night was the best. It's a short drive into town, about 6 minutes, where there are great restaurants and a cute Main Street with some great window shopping (or real shopping) at the many boutiques. But just as fun was walking around the property, where they have beautiful chickens, a couple of sweet water features, a nice old doggie, and a superb, very friendly cat named Sylvester. Ridiculously enough (as it was one of the reasons I booked this place), we didn't use the Jacuzzi, but we did visit it ~ looked warm and inviting, in its own little hut so that it could be used even in inclement weather. Overall peaceful, relaxing, and lots of fun.

It’s a beautiful area and very serene. It was exactly what we needed, peaceful R & R. The cottage was adorable and very comfy- especially the bed. We’ll be back again. Totally recommend ?
