Maria is a terrific and responsive host, and the house is exactly as described with space to spread out both inside and out, with everything we needed. We loved the lake access, the sauna, the hot tub and movie room. A great vacation!

Stayed Jun 7, 2025If you are looking for a lovely “Treehouse” experience, the Treehouse at Water’s Edge on Hogback Lake is perfect. Great views of the lake from every level. Both indoor and outdoor activities onsite including kayaks, a canoe, swim pads, table shuffleboard, sauna and a hot tub. We also enjoyed the access to the Sapphire Community Center and the proximity to Cashiers with its many restaurants and shops.

Stayed Oct 13, 2024Our stay at this beautiful home/cabin was incredible. The breathtaking lake views from the porches were even better than the pictures online, and the warm, inviting atmosphere made it feel like home. The cabin had all the amenities we needed, with comfy beds, a fully furnished kitchen, upscale bathrooms, and a theater room that made for great movie nights. I especially loved spending time on the porch swing, taking in the fresh air and scenery. Our host, Maria, was amazing and made our trip even more special. Stayed Jul 13, 2024We had a wonderful time at the Treehouse enjoying the mountain and lake view. We had a smaller group for the property but it would have been plenty of room for a large group with the three floors. The kitchen, and house in general, were very well stocked making it easy to cook at the house. The beds were very comfortable! The host was responsive and pleasant to work with. We really enjoyed the hot tub and lake access. I would definitely suggest this property and hope to stay again!
