Tranquility on a Lake House- 3 miles from Weeki Wachee River

It was our first Vrbo experience and it was a great one!

We had an amazing stay at Aileen's property. The view from the back yard was spectacular! Although there were a few hiccups in the beginning due to a storm that came through and blew out the air conditioning, she did everything humanly possible to make it perfect for us. They came and brought window units ans a stand up unit to make sure it was cool enough for us when we arrived. The AC guy was out the next morning to fix it while we were at the Springs. The kitchen had everything we needed to make some nice family meals for the eight of us and there was nothing quite like sitting out on the back deck for your morning coffee with the beautiful views. We can't wait to come back !

Our family enjoyed the house and the space that has outside our dog and our children had a lot of fun, everything was perfect

I have pictures of the filth I had to clean in the entire house. The wipes were black and dark brown. I even put my own sheets on the couch as we dare not sit on it otherwise. The outside of the house walls were covered with webs and had to remove several toxic caterpillars from in the house!! A ashame because the inside with serious cleaning and TLC could be nice. We couldn't wait for our windows to be replaced at our house so we could get out of this property.

Wish house had king bed and house could have been cleaner.

Overall, we had a good experience staying here. While the amenities were lacking and the place appeared to have not been thoroughly cleaned - the location and property itself was excellent.

Upon arrival we were unable to unlock the door, after other tries we discovered the directions were backwards. The bedrooms were well decorated, however the master bath shower didn’t work. The other thing that didn’t work was the sliding glass doors, they were hard to open and dirty, seems like it could be a safety issue. We cleaned several things to feel comfortable; the outside patio, trash around the yard and the kitchen, as well as the outside deck table. The windows were dirty and in general it seemed unkept although the outside property, like the fireplace was a great addition.

Good stay and good location

Was very happy with the house and location. Aileen was very pleasant and called to see if we needed anything and we were able to get in a little early.

We enjoyed the home. It was in a quiet neighborhood and allowed us to enjoy the peace and tranquility. Local storks and cranes wander the neighborhood. We saw a family of quail and 2 turkeys in the back yard during our stay. Lots of birds and squirrels visit the area as well. If you want a peaceful retreat, this is your kind of place.
