Tranquility, Civil war park walk, seasonal pool, and sauna

A wonderful host, who responded quickly to questions. He was very kind and respectful. The location was very private and was perfect for exploring battlefields. I would strongly recommend this home.

Our host was detailed and gave instructions in a timely manner. The house was as pictured and was welcoming. We felt at home there. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely come back especially in the summer to check out the pool.

This is my second time staying here. I absolutely love this house for a quick and quiet vacation! Secluded without being completely alone. The house and pool area are clean and well maintained. The sauna is a great amenity most other vacation homes don’t have. Mr. Park is a great host and takes great care of his property. Can’t wait to come back next summer!

Just what we needed

My husband and I vacationed with another couple and their small children. This house was perfect for our needs. We were surrounded by nature, not McMansions, or townhouses looking down on us. The pool made the entire trip! Although there were no pool toys provided, Walmart and Dollar General were right around the corner to get some. Our host had the best communication skills and typically answered right away. He let us enter the property two hours early so the children could nap. He also came to check the pool’s chemical balance twice during the trip, but did not need to come in the house. We hardly knew he was there! We are VERY likely to stay again.

Excellent home base location for any Fredericksburg area activities. Quiet and peaceful street and home. Pictures in listing are an accurate representation. House had all of the essentials, and both bathrooms were the cleanest bathrooms of any rental I've ever stayed in. Host communicated well, left plenty of instructions where they might be needed, and even left snacks with a personal note. A very good experience - thank you!

A jaunt to meet our newest member of our family. We were able to spend a few hours with him and with all of the family as well. Great location near DC and all the historical sites.

We were in town for our son’s fencing tournament at the Fredericksburg Convention Center. The property is only 20 minutes away from pretty much anywhere in town. The neighborhood is quiet and wooded, and the house is clean and spacious, with an abundance of helpful information from the owner. Highly recommend if staying in the area!

We thoroughly enjoyed this perfect little home for the week of Christmas. The home was clean and inviting and had everything we needed. We had a wonderful, comfortable stay in this beautiful home! The area is great and it was so nice to be able to take walks in such gorgeous areas, right outside the home! The area was quiet and peaceful, the beds and furniture were comfy, the sauna was really amazing, and the host was excellent. We would definitely stay in this home again!

Everything about this VRBO was great. Nice and private. Very clean. Supplied everything that a hotel would provide. Nice directions for use of the property. Great suggestions for places to eat and visit. And not too far from DC. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks

We had a great time hanging around the pool and visiting all the nearby attractions. There was no shortage of places to eat or shop if you needed, and we even were able to get Door Dash delivered. We were in range of our day trip plans to Kings Dominion and some museums at the Smithsonian in DC. The house was perfect for our needs! Mr Park was a perfect host, very friendly and very responsive. Over all this was a great visit. If we were to point out improvement areas, the bedroom ceiling fan was very dusty so maybe a seasonal deep clean, and the living room furniture was pretty uncomfortable so we didn't really hang out there as a family.

This property is secluded without being in the middle of no where. You can cook and grill. You can also go out or order from all the restaurants near by. The pool and sauna are well maintained. The sauna was a fun addition to my vacation as well as the burn pit. Mr. Park maintains the interior and exterior of the property very well and is a wonderful host. Would and will definitely stay again!

The inside of the house was nice and clean but the pool floor was dirty with algae and the backyard had too much foliage on the floor which made it feel unclean. I think the house could use some improvement in the backyard area to be more accurate to the pictures shown and overall be even more enjoyable.

The house was exactly as described. It was located in a quiet neighborhood with easy and walkable access to Lee Road which is part of the battlefield. The pool was perfect for an afternoon dip after exploring battlefields, the downtown and/or some of the local hiking trails. Our host came to clean the pool and always checked with us first before coming over. I also have to say the beds were very comfortable. Overall it was clean, quiet and located near enough to all that Fredericksburg has to offer.
