Tranquil Seaside Cottage with Spectacular Views, Wifi & Washer/Dryer

Spent an excellent 4 days at this property. Just wanted a place to hang our head in the Boothbay area, but what we got was so much more. The house itself was quite enjoyable - due to it's quaint decor and comfortable feel. Fabulous place to stay, in a very nice area.

Very nice cottage!

The property was well-kept and a great base point for the area. The view of the water from the living room and kitchen was beautiful and the home was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay! Minutes from Boothbay town center and the Botanical Gardens, it was in a great location too.

Our primary purpose for the trip was to visit the Botanical garden. The house was was wonderfully situated, less than ten minutes away from the gardens. We loved the kitchen. It was well equipped and had a wonderful view of the water.

We had a very delightful vacation. The house with all of its amenities was extremely inviting and very comfortable. The view of the water was so relaxing. We would definitely reccomend a visit to anyone looking to visit the area. Super convenient to the Coastal Botanical gardens!

Clean home and a great location. Watching the bay out of the picture windows in the morning with a cup of coffee was a perfect vacation. I highly recommend this property.

Great little house, appears to be recently renovated. Convenient to Boothbay but on a nice quite street with a nice view of the water. It was the making of a great Maine trip!

We loved the house, the location (wonderful view of river, quiet, good places to walk and hike nearby, close to site on river where you can launch boat/kayak or canoe and close to botanical garden). Down side of house: toilet seat broken (took 3 days of calling to get it repaired), dishwasher worked once and then stopped working, smoke detector on second floor went off 3 times in the middle of the night for no reason at all.

This cottage looked exactly like it did online, inside and out, which is not always the case with rentals. It was very clean and the outside landscaping made it very welcoming. We were also pleased with the location, because it was close to everything we wanted to do and see in Boothbay and Boothbay Harbor.

The cottage is just lovely, very “Maine”, newly redone and extremely comfortable. Communication with the host was easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a short but sweet stay at Riverwatch, stopping for a few nights as we were exploring coastal Maine. The cottage is beautiful and had everything we needed and more for our short stay. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed watching the sunset and viewing wildlife from the Adirondack chairs in the yard and from the front window. The neighborhood is quiet and everywhere we wanted to go in the area was just a short drive away. We will definitely stay again if we ever make it back to this area!

Riverwatch is a wonderful home near the Maine Botanical Gardens. We stay in Boothbay often and this is one of the nicest properties we have stayed at. It was immaculate and had all the amenities you could ask for. We enjoyed cooking our Thanksgiving dinner in the beautiful kitchen. The management crew even left us a Thanksgiving dinner setup. We bring our own, but the thoughtfulness was much appreciated. The property has many beautiful views and is close to the Harbor. The owners should taken pride in having made this such a welcoming place for visitors. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Beautiful little house but lots of room. Great view of water. Fun coastal decor. Everything you need. Comfy beds. Relaxing vibe but close enough to town. Highly recommend

Modern, yet spacious and very cozy. Wooded location with lovely water views. Very quiet. Walking distance to great hiking trails. Just a couple minute drive to many scenic Land Trust sites and to shoppes and restaurants of Booth Bay Harbor village. House is well stocked kitchenwise. Linens and towels quite luxe. Everything about the property feels fresh and new. Loved it.

This was our first trip to Maine and to Boothbay. We had a wonderful visit! The house is perfect for two couples or a small family. We made a day trip to Acadia and Bar Harbor, although if you want to make a long day of it, staying a night closer to the park would be ideal. Boothbay Harbor is such a cute town! Picked up some great gifts. We cooked lobster two nights at Riverwatch. Buy your lobsters at Trevett Market! We ate there three times! Clam strips were amazing. The house had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable.

Rented Riverwatch for an end of summer getaway for our family of 4. Was the perfect size for our family. The bedrooms were beautiful and cozy, the entire houses decor was perfect. We loved walking down to the dock to watch the sunset. It is a bit away from the center of things, but it was only about a 10 minute drive into town. The other thing was that I assumed Being on the water there would be a small beach nearby but there is no entry point to the water on that street. Had a bit of an issue getting into the property which was quickly addressed but would be helpful to add the lock instructions to the welcome email. We had a wonderful time exploring the area and can’t wait to return!!

Everything was so new with beautiful finishes and tastefully decorated. Highly recommend!

Very well maintained, very clean, enjoyable aesthetic, good view, comfy bed, calm sleepy neighborhood. Close enough to get to downtown but feel away from the crowds. Great job to the hosts.

Perfect spot for our family with 2 younger kids. We fell in love with the house, had everything we needed, great view, games even for kids, and close drive to everything. Will definitely seek this out again in the future!

The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. Really nicely decorated. Beautiful view. We enjoy cooking and baking and found the kitchen to be well stocked. Loved cooking with a water view. We also enjoyed a few lobster dinners on the porch. We appreciated the games and puzzles.

This home is lovely and just cute. I didn’t realize it had a water view and was pleasantly surprised. The space is great and worked really well for our family. The location was close to Boothbay without being in the middle of everything. There is not an AC unit downstairs so it got a little warm at times and was thankful for the ceiling fans. I might suggest the owner provide a couple of box fans for future. Kitchen was great but if you’re staying make sure you get things like Pam spray, foil and other things you might need to cook. Really loved the house!

My family enjoyed our stay. The property was comfortable, clean and quiet. A nice place to relax.
