Stayed Apr 30, 2024We wanted somewhere warm for a break with some sites of interest and a beach nearby, so we could catch some sun and relax. The house was ideally located within easy reach of the castle and the cathedral. There was a lovely bar nearby for breakfast and drinks in the day, also not too far to restaurants and other bars. The house is very traditional with steep stairs. The house would be good for families with older children as the stairs are open to the first bedroom which you have to go through to access the other bedroom on one side and the bathroom on the other side. Lovely terrace on the roof, which was a good place to catch the sun in the afternoon and to have a meal. The person that lets you in lives on the same street and can be easily contacted if needed.

Stayed Feb 8, 2023We really loved Almeria and this property was in a perfect location. The property had everything we needed for a stay of two weeks plus. The roof terrace is a highlight, but everything was very comfortable

Stayed Oct 8, 2021The traditional house was in the perfect location for our needs, we found the locals very friendly and we felt at home. We were staying while we looked for a flat and it was well located to get around the city. The living dining area was comfy as was the bed. The terrace upstairs had a great view and we would definitly recommend staying here. Thank you!

Stayed Sep 15, 2018Comfy accommodation as described - equipped with everything we needed. We spent lot of time on roof terrace with its great view of Alcazaba - lit at night also. Short walk into main town - 20 mins to beach. Food shops very close. Enjoyed our stayed immensely. Met by Mr Augustine who was very charming and showed us around the property. Neighbours friendly too.

Stayed Jul 21, 2018We stayed for a week, three person, with one speaking basic Spanish. The house is a cosy duplex terraced property (pale blue door in the image), with plenty of old world charm. It has one double bedroom (A/C) and another adjacent area with a bunk bed and additional bed. Common space downstairs is (A/C) adequate. Kitchen is perfectly sized with small number of essential provisions, cutlery and pots/ pans. Two bathrooms are good (although downstairs can be used as a WC only). The location is great with ready access to wonders of old town Almeria (including daily markets at Plaza Pavia) , in the shadow of Alcazaba. The booking was last minute, however the hosts were great at accommodating our needs. Senor` Augustine knows Spanish, but was patient with us, English speakers (Google translate helped!) to show us around a clean house and Garage (optional) location. He also kindly booked the return taxi for us . Minor issues being no Wi-Fi and some small additional cost for garage use & sheets. We shall look forward to stay again in future.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed for 1 month and the apartment is small and comfortable, good for 2 people, master bed fine but short for someone tall, shower is good. Would be helpful if TV/other instructions were in English also. First floor is very dark, can't really open shutters as alley level but roof deck is great with plastic chairs and a view of the fortress, laundry on roof is convenient. Kitchen stocked with basics for cooking, stovetop and toaster oven. Grocery 5 minute walk, restaurants 10 min walk, large Mercado about a 15 min walk. There is no internet in the apartment which is quite an inconvenience, we walked to a cafe 10 minutes away for internet daily.
