Great house with the perfect layout. Excellent amount and use of space. We stayed *Thanksgiving Weekend* and arrived to find out that there was no operational oven. The upper half of the oven was removed entirely. No advanced notice from the rental company. Also, the kitchen was poorly stocked and requires an update.
The location was perfect - walking distance to great restaurants and shops.
Check in was fine. The house is as advertised although a few things were frustrating and should be considered if booking. First, they advertise 3 parking passes which you will need to park outside the home during summer season. They were missing and it took a day to get an answer from the local office that we should purchase passes and they will reimburse. Within those first few hours we were ticketed though. Vacasa will reimburse for the passes but not the ticket. In the future, they should just not advertise the parking passes and instruct people where to buy passes. That would have alleviated our biggest hassle. Second, the house appears to have been cleaned but then look a little closer and smell things. The downstairs carpet is disgusting and needs to be deep cleaned or replaced. The couches are stained all over and need to be cleaned. The beds had no mattress pads and probably the yuckiest thing is that the light blankets on the beds smelled like sweat and who knows what else, but let’s just say unclean. We tried using the washer while there and found that even after 2 washes the items were still not coming out clean. So keep those things in mind and plan accordingly. The local office is slow to respond to issues but they have some sort of chatbot to help with acknowledging your message. Other than that, the location is great & walking distance to the beach, house is spacious, yard is fenced which was great for our dog, and there is a functional kitchen.
Great location that's easily walkable to the restaurants in town. The Unit is large which makes it nice for a larger group.
This home provided the perfect amount of space for our family. A few repairs/upgrades here and there are needed but overall a great experience. Loved that we were so close to town and the beach!
Already sent a detailed summary- no parking permit, no instructions, ran out of propane gas and no idea how to refill, oven would not close so no baking, unable to figure out air conditioner, hole in bathtub, cracks in bathtub, leaky faucet handles which ruined toiletry cases, no info about where trash cans were, no info of when trash went out, pillows falling apart in living room, couch falling apart with stuffing hanging out, badly stained carpet with dirty stains and bleached areas where attempts were made to clean up, badly stained living room furniture. And this with unhappy discussions with “management” over telling us to block the driveway instead of giving us a parking permit. We read it is illegal to block the driveway in Rehoboth Beach. Why get a ticket following VACASA’s instructions? Happiest times were when we were out of the house.
We had parking permits but it wasn't outlined what they were for. We assumed it meant for parking at the beach and not in the community. Due to that several of us got ticketed. I looked on what was advertised at this listing online, and I was a little disappointed that it didn't make clear that you cant park on the street at all without a permit. If I missed where I was told this, I apoligize.
This house was perfect for our Thanksgiving holiday trip. The bedrooms were big and the the first floor and family room were laid out nicely. The house had everything that we needed.
VACASA was the contact for this house. When I arrived, after check in time, house was still not clean. Lights on, fans running, place dirty etc. Tried to contact VACASA, they have an answering service. Took 3 hours for a return call from someone . I called them every 20 minutes for assistance. My first evening was horrible. Will make every attempt possible to not use property managed by VACASA. House had very few lights that worked. Otherwise things went well.
Great place for a two-family reunion!
We loved our stay here! Plenty of amenities and space. Dog and family friendly place great for a beach vacation to remember!
This home is close to the boardwalk. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Quiet safe neighborhood. Dog friendly was a plus. Nice vacation spot.
House was big enough to hold 10 adults and we did not feel crowded at all.
Overall this home has plenty of space. The first floor bedroom has a en suite bathroom that is spacious and includes walk-in shower with a seat, a jacuzzi tub, and lots of hand rails. I don't want to say the bedroom/bath is ADA compliant, because I don't know the rules, but I it would work well for an elderly person.
The house is in a great neighborhood and very walkable to pier and restaurants
Nice neighborhood and close to the shops and beach
As soon as we walked in, my wife and I were quiet. The pictures really didn't do this place justice. What an incredible home, complete with perfect proximity to everything we wanted to visit downtown, perfect decor that was natural, not forced (this makes sense when you see it), and enough room for a family, or a couple, to get away from it all and recharge. Thank you for letting us return to Rehoboth for a much-needed vacation!
