Robinson's Roost is located in northeast Alabama on Guntersville Lake, on the Main Channel of the Tennessee River. It is approximately 1.5-2 miles south of Goosepond Colony Resort by boat, in the North Sauty area, just north of Mink Creek. Stayed Dec 27, 2024We booked Robinson’s Roost for our family Christmas vacation! We had 8 adults and five children (ages 5 - 7yrs). The location was great, close to small town Alabama (I highly recommend Payne’s Sandwich Shop in Scottsboro) and on Lake Guntersville!The house gave us plenty of space to congregate and talk and eat and solve puzzles and have Christmas! I was initially concerned that two bathrooms for 13 people would be a problem, but it was not at all!! The house is well equipped, the rooms are quiet and the beds are very comfortable! The owner was also Awesome and very responsive to any questions I had!I highly recommend Robinson’s Roost for your next vacation!

Stayed Nov 25, 2024The house was perfect for our family to get together and have a wonderful Thanksgiving. The beds were all very comfortable. The porch was perfect for hanging out and playing games with the kids while others watched football in the living room. The kitchen was ideal. We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed Nov 11, 2024Property is located in in a great place on Lake Guntersville. We were there Fishing so we’re very close to boat ramps any direction we wanted to go. There were a total of nine of us. Everyone had a bed plenty of room for cooking and just hanging out. We had a total of four trucks and boats and parking worked out great with no issues. I would definitely recommend this place for fisherman of large groups to stay if you’re in the area.

Stayed Oct 25, 2024We have stayed at Robinson’s Roost several times and are always so pleased with EVERYTHING. The owner is prompt in responding to us and the property is awesome. The kitchen is amply supplied and there is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. You will not be disappointed!

Stayed Sep 11, 2024We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Robinson's Roost! Plenty of room for us all to spread out. The bedrooms are spacious & comfy. The bathrooms are large. The kitchen had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and the house felt very private. We especially enjoyed the sunroom and the outside spaces. We'd love to stay again when we're in the area.

Stayed Jul 7, 2024The house and boat house were excellent! Bedrooms and baths were great, big and roomy! Loved double oven and all the tv's! Owner was great to work with! A/C struggles if cooking in the house but the grills were perfect! Needs a bigger frying pan. Honestly besides the grass in the water, those are only small issues. The snacks, fruit and bathing supplies were a great surprise.

Stayed May 30, 2024Grands, Children and Grandchildren. We greatly enjoyed this place. Beautiful view, fishing, kayaking, plenty of room to enjoy company. This place was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was great for preparing meals. The beds were comfortable. Awesome place. We plan to return for a longer stay and maybe rent a boat.
