Tortuga 4 Masters, Hot Tub, Pool, Game Room

This place had it all great serving dish for a family. Great spaces for all the members of the family! You can hear the music from the pier every night. We jaf a great time there!

Our second time staying here, and we loved it again! This house is well stocked with everything you need and way more. Great location. Great owners. Our go to place in OBX.

Our extended family enjoyed our stay very much. The younger folks walked to the beach & the pier. The house had all the amenities that we were looking for. The stairs were a little tough for the old folks, but we got through it. The grandchildren loved the pool. The hosts were very thoughtful and checking on us to make sure everything was as we expected it to be. Also, they very quickly addressed one issue that did come up on our first day. We were very pleased.

We absolutely loved our stay in Tortuga. Four years ago we rented through a big company and this was a much better experience. The house is beautiful, very clean, and the location is great. The house is close to the beach and quiet despite being close to the pier. There are so many decks with furniture to enjoy the ocean view. There were many small touches that made our stay great... from the deck furniture, outdoor shower and foot spay to the clothesline for towels, well stocked kitchen and HUGE washer and dryer - the owners put a lot of thought into what would make a great stay. There were also beach chairs, umbrellas etc to use. Loved having two refrigerators and a propane grill. We really like the Rodanthe area. It's quiet and less touristy, but we can drive to Avon or Nags Head for shops and restaurants. We would absolutely to stay here again.

We enjoyed celebrating my in laws 50th wedding anniversary by the beach. The house was in the perfect location for a quick walk to the pier or beach. We enjoyed waking up to the ocean viewevery morning. We would recommend and stay again, but beware the stairs may be difficult for older individuals.

The house was wonderful for a family with teenagers because everyone had their own space. Also great amenities such as a pool table, hot tub and pool.

The listing photos do not do the property justice. It’s really clean and well decorated on the inside. The location of the house to the beach is way closer than it looks. We had a total of 3 families with four little girls in total. The children loved the small play room and the pool was perfect for them. It was also really nice that all the master bedrooms had their own bathrooms. A must with three families! The propane grill was also a plus, most places just have charcoal or no grill at all. Steak night was a good night! The views from the upper decks were simply stunning and made for a relaxing getaway and wonderful photos. Laura reached out to ask how the house was after we checked in and gave us wonderful recommendations for food and things to do. She also sent over a delicious pan of cinnamon rolls for breakfast which was a nice surprise. This was our first time visiting outer banks and we hope to come back soon.

Our family a week at Tortuga July 2024 and it was simply wonderful. 3 adult couples plus a 10 mth. As I said to Laura the house is ‘bigger’ and better appointed than shown in the photos. The only gotya would be the number of steps to the living floor; my wife counted 44. So that might affect some potential renters.

This house is amazing!! Has everything you need for your stay. The owners are very kind and left cinnamon rolls for us one morning. Beach is less than a minute walk away. If your looking for a great vacation home look no further.

The pictures truly do not describe the greatness of this house. Tortuga has incredible views all over the house. The ocean feels like a stone throw away (it's really closer than the pictures show). The interior is immaculate with so many thoughtful touches. The kids loved the game room & pool! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The gas grill made for quick, hot, lunches in between trips to the beach. The utility room was full of beach toys, pool items and beach gear. The pier passes made me feel less bad for not catching any fish. The owners even dropped off a fantastic treat one morning and checked in with us to make sure all was well. My entire family would love the opportunity to stay here again! It was our best experience renting in our 10+ years at the OBX!

Laura and her family were fantastic. The house was well equipped with all necessities and the layout was great for everyone having their own space. We loved the cinnamon buns that were left for us the first morning too! There were a few issues with the pool and hot tub that Laura took care of right away! We would definitely stay there again!

We had a wonderful time as a larger family group reconnecting and making memories together at this beautiful spacious beach home! There was so much space for our group, there were plenty of supplies including tons of beach toys/beach supplies. It was a super quick walk to the beach and the private pool was perfect for our younger kids to gain swimming confidence! We loved the decor in the home and the views from every deck/balcony is really what made this home the most spectacular!! Highly recommend this place for your group!

This house has a great view of the ocean and has easy access to the beach and the Rodanthe Pier.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tortuga. The home was clean and well furnished. The location is good; we loved the short distance to the beach. The kitchen was adequately stocked, and we loved playing pool in the game room. We appreciated the owners touching base to make sure everything was in order when we arrived, and they even left a sweet treat for our family’s arrival. Overall it was a wonderful experience!
