Stayed Aug 10, 2025The property is gorgeous and the photos are accurate. The furniture is comfortable and homie. However the property management was horrid. They sent us two different check in codes, accused us of unplugging a security camera and they charged us for bringing a pet when we hadn’t. When we contested the pet charge they sent us pictures of the “evidence” and it was the wrong property. I strongly advise the owners change property management.

Stayed Aug 5, 2024I tired contacting host and never got a single response about docking my boat and management team was very rude when a neighbor called in about a flag we had and left me a nasty message which I’d love to share but anyways I removed flag as they asked but this handled very poorly and unprofessional causing my stay not entirely enjoyable

Stayed Jul 1, 2024The house was not fully equipped with towels, soap. The drawers in the kitchen were filthy. The kitchen chairs were falling apart and are clearly a hazard - an accident waiting to happen. The rental agreement states that they will charge you for one cigarette butt outside. Yet there were at least 10 there when we arrived. Overall cleanliness ? I could go on and on. An email will be sent outlining our issues. Two different families showed up as they had booked through Expedia - one did not speak much English and we “hosted” each family for hours while they straightened everything out. Then we were Adair’s to leave the property unattended because we weren’t sure if the overbooked family could get access to the home and our belongings inside.

Stayed May 28, 2024The location was great. The house was pretty great. We had a great week there. The house could have been cleaned better. We found dirty underwear in a drawer, someones birth control in a room and the dishes were dirty. The dresser in one of the rooms was full of junk that made it where we couldn’t use the drawers. We also had to replace the batteries in tv remotes. The fact that we never got a response from the management company on why there was not a shower curtain in the shower and why the listing said part of the amenities there was a kayak/Canoe, but there wasn’t any. The dock had a large rock standing next to the steps into the river that fell multiple times almost falling on us. There was a camera on the back deck and I know it was for the owner to keep an eye on his dock but we had young girls with us and there were uncomfortable with a camera on them while they were in the yard. We covered the camera and got a message that we needed to uncover it. I called at least six times to talk to management. I only got one call back and was told they would get answers to my questions but never gave them. Overall it was a great week. Thank you.

Stayed Jun 24, 2023Beautifully updated cottage on the Torch River. Location on the river is fantastic and the house has lots of great outdoor spaces for family and friends. Only con was the listing mentioned a King and there were only Queen beds. AC also was underpowered for a house of that size. Vaulted ceiling made it very hard to cool the house, especially the upstairs loft and bedroom.
