Torch Lake Waterfront Wonder--crystal clear water & shallow sandy walk-out

This house is wonderful for a large family get together. We were very comfortable and the Lake is beautiful. 10/10!

The house was as advertised; clean, unique, nice lake frontage and views, very pleasant for a large group of friends and family. I don't like to give anything but 5 stars, but I couldn't excuse the following: The kitchen sink uses a pump system to drain the water up and out of the house. That was not functioning properly, and an alarm would beep for a long while any time we washed dishes.One of the toilet handles became disconnected. The driveway was never plowed in the three snowy days we were there, and no snow shovel was accessible. I called the property manager about the toilet and sink, and the coffee machine wasn't working. He first asked if I was traveling with an Allen wrench set. Uh, no. Then, he committed to stopping by the house the following day, to fix the toilet, and drop off a new coffee maker. He never did show up, and I received no communication. It was NYE, and the roads were snowy; but still, not even a text.We found a secondary coffee maker in the cabinets, so lives saved there, but still had to take a star off my review for the reasons stated above.

Great property, perfect lake vacation.

Amazing house with a great view of the lake. House comes with kayaks, paddle boards and others. Spacious for lots of guests. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Property all around!

Great spot for our corporate retreat!!!

We came for a post wedding gathering of family, and had a wonderful time! We slept well, enjoyed the beautiful lake, the kitchen was spacious for gathering, loved the large stove, the layout. Hosts were accommodating and great communicators. Highly recommend!!

We LOVED this rental. There was plenty of room for everyone and the two refrigerators were perfect for our big crowd. The back yard is beautiful with a nice safe sand area for the kids to play, plenty of seating, and a huge fire pit for cooler nights. Any questions we had were answered immediately by the hosts. The sand bar is a VERY short boat ride away and you can get to a grocery store in under 10 minutes. Definitely plan on coming back again!

This was by far the nicest place we have stayed in yet. The kitchen was huge with quality industrial quality appliances. The open concept made it easy to communicate with each other. The view was spectacular! The children really enjoyed the kayaks. It was so relaxing to sit around the fire pit in the evening. The pinnacle of our trip was when an eagle landed in the pine tree!

Judy was fabulous to work with and was extremely patient when we had to work through technical difficulties during our booking! Had to use the property manager while we were there and he was extremely responsive and quick to resolve our issue.The place is a hidden gem! Conveniently located, right on the water and has everything you could need!Loved this find and can’t wait to go back!!!

Absolutely incredible week on Torch! The house accommodated our group of 16 with ease. We felt like we had more than enough space to spread out and the kids had their own bunk room. A perfect location right next to the sand bar. We didn’t even have to anchor our boat by the sandbar, as we just created our own fun right out our back door. The host was responsive and wonderful to coordinate with. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us. We made memories that will last a lifetime.

This property was everything that was advertised and more. House was a great lay out for a large group. Kitchen had all the supplies you needed and more. The lake was amazing and the backyard was great for hanging out and watching the kids play in the lake. This was one of the best rental houses I have stayed at.

This property is absolutely stunning! We could not have asked for a better house for a long weekend stay on Torch Lake. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Location was perfect with Alden and Elk Rapids as cute neighboring towns with local shops. The property manager was excellent with answering our questions promptly. 10/10 stay and I hope to come back one day!!

We recently stayed at the Funbunch property for a family and friend’s getaway. The house was absolutely beautiful and the back yard over looking the water is picturesque. The home slept 13 of us comfortably. Would definitely recommend everyone get a chance to stay a property this beautiful.

Fun relaxing

Friends and family who were greatly involved in the recent election cycles gathered for relaxation and reflection. This space was perfect. The serene scenery, the spaciousness, etc. It was perfect and I was their super hero for selecting it. The drive was comfortable for people coming from mid Michigan and down state.

We had a large group of adults and the home was perfect for us each to have privacy as well as open enough for us to never feel crowed in group. Fantastic kitchen! We all coveted the stove LOL ! Wonderful home! Thank you very much!

We just rented this home in October for 12 people, including adults, teens and kids. The house is beautiful as is the property. The home almost has 2 separate wings which is great for big groups. The kitchen and bathrooms are gorgeous and updated. What I appreciate the most is that the kitchen is stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, pots, pans,etc for cooking. Communication was excellent. Would definitely recommend this home!

Great location right on the sandbar. Sunsets were beautiful. Firepit was very nice to sit around after a day on the lake. House was nice and accommodated our group of 6 comfortably.
