A charming home 1 minute from Hunter Mountain. Spotlessly clean and with a winter cabin theme. Our host decorated for Christmas which made our stay that much more fun. Bathrooms are great, and kitchen well stocked with pans/tools. Great for a family or group of friends.

We had a wonderful time ! The place is beautiful and clean and Mario always answer fast any messages sent. 5 stars isn’t enough, I would give more if i could! Definitely recommend .

The host was very communicative, informative, and genuine. Mario made sure we knew exactly what to do when we checked in and what to do when we checked out. He also was informative on things to do while we were there. Overall, a great experience and great place to stay. The house was beautiful and the sauna was great.

Wonderful stay this weekend. House was perfect for my family and would have easily fit 2 families comfortably. Mario was so kind, he made an effort to call us ahead and even left a treat in the fridge for us! Plenty of pillows and blankets, and I felt like we had everything we needed. Thank you!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this very clean and cozy cabin! It was just the perfect summer getaway we were looking for. Mario and Giovanna were very welcoming and helpful with sharing activities to do during our stay. We enjoyed nearby hikes, campfires, cooking and just relaxing with our kids.

Brought the whole family, ages 4 to 69, and it served us all well. House is beautiful and well kept. Mario was available for any questions or concerns. We enjoyed the fire pit and games every night. Kitchen was well equipped, soaking tub was a hit!

We thoroughly loved our stay! Simple but perfect. 3 full bathrooms was great!! Close enough to walk to a great coffee shop and enjoy the beautiful sites. A/C always appreciated in the warm weather (thank you!). We would stay here again for sure.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at this home. It was clean and very comfortable. I booked it because we were a group of 5 friends and there were enough beds and rooms that everyone had their own space to sleep. The kitchen and home had everything we needed, and more. We used this as our home base to visit the Hobart book village and Woodstock. It was a warm weekend and the air conditioning in the house worked great! We also enjoyed the fire pit and large porch/deck. The owner was very friendly and helpful, as well.

We were celebrating our anniversary, so it was just 2 of us, so this place was more than we needed, but still felt cozy. Mario was very helpful and responsive. The house was very clean and well-appointed. We really enjoyed the style of the house as well. Would definitely rent again when back in the area.

We had a wonderful stay with friends. The property is located in the most perfect spot, just minutes from the ski mountain and restaurants and shops in town. The house itself is phenomenal, well stocked, and extremely comfortable. Mario was responsive and generous with his time, and his attention to detail and dedication to making his guests stay as great as possible was evident.

Excellent cabin close to Hunter!

Thanks to Mario for his unbelievable hospitality and perfect home for our group os 6 guys. The house was spotless with perfect location to mountain. Hopefully we will be back in future.

Great place, close to mtn and plenty of room

Villa Gran Sasso is a great place to stay. Check in was easy and it is hard to beat how close to the mountain it is to Hunter. The rooms were comfortable and the owners were extreamy responsive to any question I had. Thank you for a great experience.

Our family had an excellent winter getaway at this cabin. The check-in process was easy and access to the mountain and the towns made for a great stay. Highly recommend for families with multiple young children.

We had a great time at Villa Gran Sasso. I stayed for 4 nights with my wife, toddler, and in-laws (mother, father, sister boyfriend). The space was perfect, the location to hunter mountain was ideal, just 5 mins to drop-off / parking lot. The house was very clean, and had all the essentials. Mario is a great host, clearly experienced and knows what he is doing.I recommend staying at Villa Gran Sasso. I would definitely do it again if I go back to Hunter Mountain.

We had an amazing little stay! The cabin/house was so cozy and the layout was perfect for my family. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. My little one and fur baby appreciated all the room they had! Mario was an amazing host and answered all our questions and gave us plenty of information on the places around us. Overall, we were very satisfied and will definitely come back!

This is a rustic mountain cabin with all the modern amenities. It has 3 bedrooms on the main floor and with 2 bathrooms and a bedroom and bathroom on the top floor. We used it as our a permanent place to stay while exploring the area from the mountains to the Hudson Valley. The host was very attentive before, during and after our stay.

Well appointed home with charming features and nice decor. There are homes surrounding if you're looking for ultimate privacy. We went mid week and didn't see anyone. Firepit chats were nice and easy access to all surrounding areas. Host is very nice and easily accessible if you need anything.

The cabin is very clean, upscale, and pretty in a great location for many activities and sight seeing, I highly recommend it
